Yes, Dave Mathews, I dreamed I killed God, too, only it was not God I'd slain, it was fear, and then I woke up and knew where I was, where I was born to be with God and vanquished fear piled high as the fear in your believing. Follow, Dave? Only a dream, wake up is what we need! She moans, and if that thought is behind your words, you'll help me...
Many years ago, I came across a SBD version of, Reconcile our Differences. -> shn track info showed venue as something like, William and Mary College -> Having nearly 1,000 audience sourced recordings, THIS WAS, NO DOUBT, A soundboard sourced direct feed show!!! Ultra High quality, with telltale direct source being able to hear XLR/Amp plugs connecting to instruments.. Anyone know of this (likely 1997) show and source? Desperately want entire show! Reconcile our Differences lyrics went similar to: "Devil and the lord walking on hand in hand" Such a tight performance of early D&T. Perhaps a postproduction edit or 'studio 'live' recording, with maybe post production overdubs? IMHO opinion, D&T/DMB have done post production edits with track overdubs and or multitake edits joined by studio engineers for 'live' shows.
Many years later but I think it may be 2-22-97. I am going from memory as I don’t have the discs available to me but I’ve heard this version before and I think that is the date or close to it.
dont think Dave was ever fond of Coke. He loves weed and bourbon though. lotta boubon......like....a LOT... before these crowded streets was almost canned cause of it...
@@izzy_ondomink he’s good at guitar yes but he doesn’t come close to the complexity of his music compared to Dave. Lyrically, as well, Dave is in another league.
I would love to see this make a comeback.
I love that Dave has all these mysterious songs that hits you so hard when discovered...
I can't believe I've never heard this one! I love how he wails. I love me some wailing Dave.
One of DMB's finest songs. Short, simple, powerful, but oh so complex!!
Just Dave and Tim......not the whole band son....
This is my favorite live version of this song... I remember listening to this back in 99-00
This song is so dope!! Wish he would play it more
I can't stop listening to this.. Wow! Amazing
Love it soooo much! 🙆♀️ His voice is so amazing!

Chances I'll hear this in Mansfield: 1,000,000:1. But I'm still hoping.
Is this from a Live Trax or something? The quality is fantastic.
one of the dave & tim reynolds albums
kevinreedmusic1 search "Dave Tim lost acoustics minarets" and select the 9:ish minute version. This is the outro.

@@Kaye_J.A Come on, I'm no Ed Sheeran fan, but ya gotta admit, he's a great guitarist.
