There is an impressive amount of work being done by Marwan since there is no documentation for AAU1 and the G3000… apparently docs will be published after release.
Wonderful flight video Les. I was not aware there was a V2. Very exciting because 90% of my flight hours are in the HJet. One thing I do before landing and on T/O, over 80kts, is turn off NWS. I think it makes things a bit smoother on the runway. Have not seen mention of it in the manual however. Thanks for all you do.
Cool tip I might try that. But yeah this beta for v2 does have some improved handling as well. I can see giving the NwS a try to see where it puts me :).
YAY! More CYGK goodness! I've had this plane for a while not, but still haven't actually flown it. I really didn't like the way the G3000 was implemented in it and how the GTCs work. So I never really put any effort into it. This video now makes me want to build a full set of Air Manager instruments for this plane. I have the G3000 and GTC already, but now I want to do the rest of it. Can't wait for this to come out in the sim proper. And of course, the update for the Vision Jet as well.
@@LesOReilly The fact you're quite familiar with the spot IRL makes the SimAddons CYGK even better and more realistic. I've never seen the airport in its current form IRL from the apron side.

Correct.. this is the Beta (HJet) inside of the MSFS Beta (AAU1). Needs AAU1 to release and then it can after that incorporate final changes to the sim before it’s release.

I love the aircraft and have been flying it ever since it came out. Problem is, now that everyone is fine-tuning everything in the beta, what happens when the beta goes public? Especially with FS, I don't want to play with the beta....I did that when MS first launched FS2020, and now I just want to enjoy a tested and working version. But thank you all for doing the beta testing. I can't wait for the finished product.
That is why this is being worked on .. difference is that it has the older version built in so even when aau1 launches it still needs to then update after that. Progress is good and people have been asking about it and thought sharing the progress would be good to see.
Hello Les, thanks for the great video. I couldn't wait for yesterday's AAU1 update. But then I was quite disappointed that my Honda Jet was still running the previous version. Did I do something wrong, or is there a switch like for the V2 with AT that you have to switch beforehand? The CJ4 works for me with two independent MCDUs. Greeting SIrJohn62
As has been stated many times and even in this video .. After AAU1 releases then the final work can be done and only then can you "ship" off the update to MSFS to be released.. There still is no official documentation yet on how to implement the plugin system.. this is all being done trial and error..
Keeps getting better and better. Looks like VNAV is now on by default which I appreciate.and the font on the CAS messages seems to be larger (or it might just be me). Couple of question if you don't mind. Will panel states (glass screens) persist between sim sessions? I know you didn't have the flightplan up on the MFD much during this flight but I currently love the fact that that flightplan auto scrolls as the flight progresses and operates independently of the flightplan on the small panel. Do you know if this feature will be kept as the AAU upgraded aircraft don't have this useful feature?

The AAU1 Avionics are not yet released as explained in the video .. I am showing the Progress in the video... New one out today sometime since we now have the Release Candidate Build we are testing...

No this is a beta in the beta. Needs AAU1 to release and then after that will all be based on what does or does not change. I can’t speak to the delivery only that the integration is going well which we were able to share here.
@@LesOReilly I'm running the AAU1 Beta and was wondering if this was going to be released before they actually roll out the AAU1 for real. That's supposedly coming out this month so I guess it can't be too far of for the HJet anyway.

The HJet is faster and flies higher. I bought both and fly both. I guess it’s all about what you like. One of the things though is they are 25bucks. Value for money is incredible … all depends on what you want to simulate I guess…
@@LesOReilly I fly the vision jet a lot for my virtual airline Bazinga Air in OnAir. Because it is not perfect, I can cram 6 first class seats into the Vision Jet where the Honda I can only get 5. However with a big difference in payload and speed I might be able to make more money with the Honda Jet. You are right, the value seems really good for the money.
No because it requires AAU1 to be released. Then based on the final changes additional beta rounds based on what those result in... Progress is very very promising... however there has been no definitive update about AAU1 .. speculation is tomorrow for its since they said January and well that ends tomorrow... Plus it is a Tuesday and they do like to launch things on Tuesdays..
@@cheval4444 could be soon... Marwan was looking for input on if the community wanted to just move forward with AAU1 avionics or if they also wanted to have the legacy WTG3000 as optional liveries...

I haven't had a SINGLE CTD on Xbox since installing the AAU 1 beta builds. Things are looking up for the Sim's stability too. 😁

it stops the gear moving when it goes up, otherwise the gear it would cause damage to the stuff in the undercarriage

settings do persist in the AAU1 G3000, not sure if there’s restrictions but the tech is there

I am going to say “I think so” since on take off I know it has me at 200 max when out into FLC but while still hand flying with AT on.

Maybe I missed it. Is there Navigraph integration on the PFD? Doe's AAU1 handle missed approach procedures. Thanks, this is incredible already.
No Navigraph integration with AAU1.
Missed approaches / Visual Approaches and holds are all implemented.
Regarding Navigraph. They (Navi) have stated they will be developing the plug-in for this and are waiting for the release

Well the HJet is single Pilot so you can put 6 people in. Front seat/couch and 4 seats.

How can i get a beta on xbox? If possible
You can enter into the beta for AAU1 but you can’t get a HJet with it yet. Have to wait for the update when it’s done after AAU1 releases.
