@@dndkeg everybodys pirating with their modded 3ds, ofcourse theyre not gonna keep selling the batteries for it lol but then again they did stop production of 3ds systems in general long before they decided to close eshop so the batteries they had probably were overstock and they very well might have just actually legit run out of batteries.
Luckily Nintendo made these battery swaps easy for us. I'll start recording more intensive repairs as they present themselves in my collecting. Thanks for watching!
great stuff, i saw this in recommends, and knew this was my sign to get a new battery. Noticed my 3ds battery would die fairly quick after like 40 minutes of playing and then closing it for 4 hours, just to play again for like 30 minutes and it would start flashing red!
Your videos have been great and instructive so far. Keep up the great work! Perhaps some DS or 3DS Hidden Gems in an upcoming video? What do you think?
I really like this idea, I have 2 other videos in the queue, but as my channel's name is focused on physical games I do plan to move in that direction after the eshop's close. DS and 3DS really at the superstars! Thank you for the suggestion.
@@physicalforevergames via Nintendo Europe/uk website. The other day I managed to crush my bottom base outer case on my new 3ds putting hairline cracks where the two screws are 😪 I’ve emailed Nintendo again to see if they will replace for me part. I saw an outer case in usa ebay for £28 if they fail me though but I’d prefer to buy off Nintendo. They did email back but I’ve not read it yet.
I still have the photo of the day I bought this console. Had to camp at a target. I didn’t realize till I started buying used consoles that not everyone treats them the same!
are these batterys new? not used right?
Correct, the batteries are new, not refurbished. Both are currently showing out of stock on Nintendo's Site at the moment...
@@physicalforevergames Yep sold out
@@physicalforevergames yea still sold out… not sure if they’re doing that on purpose…

Dang I don’t know why I envision these kinds of repairs harder than they should, this looks really straight forward, thanks for the demo!

Wish they still made the extended battery for it like they do for the normal 3ds :( It would be great to double or tripple the battery life.
Helpful guide thank you! 👏🏼
I asked Europe Nintendo for one and they sold it to me I was surprised.
You messaged them? How did this work?

@Falcon-um7vo I’m just used to companies giving up on their products in this throw away replace culture we have now. Plus 3ds is super old now.
@Falcon-um7vo yeah 😊
I love Game! Nice video! Good! From japan
Thank you for finding me, I hope to continue providing you with quality content.
Thank you
your 3ds is in very good condition

4K is a waste of data if you're not gonna use good lighting and you're moving the instructions around enough that it's just motion blur.
