I tried to explain cockatiel sound meanings depending on my experiences. Cockatiel sounds and their meanings. Cockatiel sounds are explained.

PLEASE PIN! ‼️‼️ Many people are saying that when their cockatiel heard the flock call, they repeated it. That is not a good thing, and please don’t repeat it for them! It can. It has a huge effect on their brains, and it makes them believe there is another bird that is there and needs help finding you, or is in serious danger. It isn’t good for them, and many people make this mistake. It’s ok if you’ve done it! Just please don’t do it again! It seriously confuses them and is dangerous for their brains. Often times, when they call back and it doesn’t respond again, they get worried for a long time because they assume the other bird is “lost” or “dead” which can have a huge impact on them. You need at least 2 cockatiels, bords are flock animals.

Just got my tiel. He was making this loud noise and charging me to get at my necklace I kept taking away. Crawling up my boobs like a madman.

When my little man became a new daddy protecting his eggs, while giving mummy a break, if I were to peek in the nest box, he would sway & hiss at me everytime! He was a great daddy!!! Lol

Do you know what gender my cockatiel is? It’s only a month old so idk and it has faded colors not bright colors like males do and it seems that it has some lines on its bottom feathers but also the fur on the bottom isn’t curving like there could be a egg it goes straight down but again it’s only a month old also it only makes 2 sounds the flock call and the confused one please respond if you have any ideas
You need to wait till it get 4-5 month old because before that they all look like girls. You need to wait first molt, both for feathers, colors and sounds

Her chirps are like squeaking and such and a bit of male and female noises so im confused but most of her face feathers (by most i mean head and around beak) are yellow and theres some tiny yellow spots on her body if i remember correctly those are called pearl markings?
