A few years ago I used to think that any flower that was 30% thc would be good smoke, but I learned that the terpene content plays a more important role in providing the medical effect
anything over 12-14% THC just overloads your receptors, which dopes you out and makes you sleepy because your brain is literally cooked. Weaker organically sungrown weed gets you higher, lasts longer and doesn't give you tolerance issues. Terpenes are what matter....and if anyone brags about being a quality producer, but still grow with salt based hydroponic systems, they are kidding themselves. Hydro ruins the weed, reduces terpenes, limits the cannabinoid profile, but boosts THC which just gets you smashed and causes psychosis, which is what they doctors want, so they can then prescribe all medical cannabis users, anti psychotics like Qitiapine and other poisons which cause permanent brain and nervous system damange...etc.
I just got two different strains at the store a few days ago one is 28.88% and the other was 23.6% and the one that was 29 pretty much didn’t get me that high but the one that was 23 got me extremely high. Same thing just happened again yesterday got one that’s 3% more that is like 3 times worse somehow

I’m not being stuck up, I’m from the Bay Area in California, but now I live in the Seattle area. We all know Humboldt County has some of the best genetics , but I found some super fire strains up here that my circle worked with everyone had. There own special strain that they liked or ran for various reasons. We used seed companies from everywhere, Humboldt seed company, subcool, la genetics, geeenhouse Netherlands, soma, the list is endless. I think we started the gelato thing, I have made my own OGfrom using my old original chemdoh#1 w my old king Louie the 5 th OG, & my baby took 5 years to stabilize indoors up here in the shitty Seattle area , I made her mold resistant, shortened her flower time by a month, & I run her indoors , but she will still cone off ok even if it’s crap conditions , but she really shines indoors. The og genetics just doesn’t really like these conditions.the seeds I made & sent out to my friends in warmer climates are just freaking out about her!. Huge yields, 7 weeks to finish, old school taste that’s gas & grape bubble gum, most phenos are a tall plant, stretch is sometimes double, if you top her, a giant bush , that should be cleaned up, lollie popped & you get a 5 ft plant that has crazy frost, giant golf balls that run all the way down the branch , top colas are coke bottles that are rock hard, purple, pink, lavender, orange, it’s a beautiful plant that has so many great qualities, every f1 & beyond has been a great potential to the community, especially for pain management, I only got her tested once, independently, & she came back 31%. & I was impressed cause that was an early harvest that I had issues with so I knew if I could manage her more she would be a keeper. Props to the east coast’!
I'll never forget we were in high school and my buddy's neighbor put their couch out at the curb and we brought into his garage to hand out and smoke cigarettes and play guitar cause his parents wouldn't let us smoke in the house. However we also as his dad who was an old vet would catch us smoking the whacky tabaccy...as he called it.

My first dispensary experience was in Maryland! I can’t remember the strain but I had a few different culta products and all of them were top quality! Currently looking to get into the cannabis industry and Maryland was a place I was looking at!
Not too easy, all the out of state corporations have moved in already! I myself, work in the industry and I know enough to set my foot out but not enough financial and business aspect to get behind, on top of not even getting a fair shake with the MCA in the recent licensing lottery. Do what you have to do and good luck because as a Maryland resident, chances have gotten slim after Recreation.
I can only imagine what was done to get this number. THC sprays. I'd ppl keep falling for these ever increasing thc contents, pretty soon we'll have plants producing 96%thc. Just diamonds on toothpicks. F-me dead

Nate do you have any idea how they post process those massive outdoor harvests? (When the flower is “usable” beyond extraction) Is outdoor still bud-washed at scale? Not for hash but like, sani-washed for bird and bug sh*t.
i feel like its so successful outside there for you one because you guys have your methods dialled in but two i think its a great environment for outdoor autos, autos from what i’ve read come from places where light exposure is minimal and temps and environments aren’t ideal from photos so they should in theory thrive in the environment you have, if marylands hasn’t been ideal for previous growers id say you found the good method that works that being autos, obviously this just opinion from an observation but just thought it was a good comment to add, love the work keep it up🙌🏻
Growing outdoor in MD im sure isn't that bad The soil is probably really rich. The growing season is short but it gets hot+ humid and bright AF in summer followed by hurricane season tons of rain and cooler temperatures Only thing you gotta watch for is mold. All my vegetables doubled/ tripled in size in the past couple weeks
BC BUD Has been grown in Upstate NY ,Since prior to '77 , so the weed was shared with a gentleman that has family in Toronto Canada , thats when its move twords BC began , the oddity of it all is my NickName came about in 1982 , in 88 the herb was called BC Bud

Last summer I planted 20 different 55-65 day finishers and ran them in 3 lines close to each other and logged each strain kept the 12 that flipped quickest and finished fastest and I'm running those this summer. New York has a even worse outdoor season its tough and rh stays high
As good as the bud was that I grew the first couple years outside in the ground I've always wanted to have a job at a grow house like this. Talk about loving your job and you'll never work a day in your life this is something that could be as silly as it sounds a life-changing thing for a lot of people to have a job at a place like that.
"Not giving up on quality" are words you don't hear a lot these days. This is the sole reason im buying a house in Maine and betting on myself. Quality is all i care about cause weed has completely raced to the bottom. Let's grow!

Maryland Cannabis has gotten a spotlight now but they allow home grows and now that it's legal to buy seeds openly, it'll be hard to completely outpace the one's holding on to the strains that are cuts that Medical can't recreate. Regulations have their agenda so it's fair to say hidden gems will be around!
They have perfected the trimming procedure to scrape the tricombs off the flower and sell the tricombs back to you as another product. They have adulterated the flowers to remove it. Look at the flowers under magnification you can see 90% of the tricombs are gone mechanically removed and sold to you in other products. Your being ripped off.
Wish I could get my foot in the legal game and have access to the technology. For now I'll keep on building lights and taking advantage of the 🌞 lol that amnesia og is good. Unsure of their genetics but it reminds me of the amnesia kush I grew from dinafem.
I wonder what chemicals they use to manage fungus, mold and pest? Are those chemicals on the flower you use or in the comcentrates or edibles? Why not be transparent about that?
I still believe the best experience with marijuana cultivation is through private , smaller, grows. Not these big commercials marijuana, marketing, farms! 😎
