I think it's incredible and brave that Britney came out and told her story. It's wild that when she was first starting to show the world that she had a mental illness she was treated so awful. Now, she might be able to be an advocate for normalizing caring for our mental health because we all struggle at some point even if it's "minor" anxiety or depression. We need more people like her to show everyone that it's okay to not always be okay and to seek help💕
I've replaced my house shoes with Crocs. I love wearing them around the house while I'm cleaning. They're so comfortable! I have plantar fasciitis so it helps a ton having the support.
I was inspired to go to abercrombie after your blue outfit post and while my store didn't have the sweat shirt or biker shorts, they did have these amazing cropped tanks that are such good stretchy ribbed material that are like cropped perfectly, they are not so short that my whole stomach is exposed but they hit perfectly at the waist of my highwaisted jeans so I don't have to worry about my jeans looking bulky over a fitted tank. I got the white, black, mauve and blue (same color as the sweatshirt/biker shorts) I think all the colors they have actually 🙈. So good!!
I currently have a broken leg and I've been LIVING in my one platform croc on my other foot. They're comfortable and make my legs the same length with the cast!

I can’t imagine one of my parents taking advantage of me that way. Living in Florida they have always been a thing though because of the material and holes in them they are perfect for the beach and when we go out on the boat. If you wear them outside during summer use SPF on your feet or you will get little circle tans on the top of your foot lol not cute

It’s embarrassing the amount of crocs I have purchased in two months! I don’t know how I’ve been without them. Those and Birkenstocks! Omg, two very comfortable brands of shoes. I have two pairs of Birkenstocks in the very controversial “Boston” style. I have the classic Bae style (the platform you have) in pink and a jungle print they just released. It’s seriously about the comfort for me these days. 😀😀

I bought my mom some sandals just like the Valentino sandals but they’re they straight across and up rock stud (not the bow version) from Mudd for literally $10 @ Burlington! The Valentino version is like $400+ !! So not worth it
With the Valentinos you're paying for the name, but you're also paying for Italian labor rather than Chinese. And I can't speak for those shoes specifically but in my experience with many other luxury products vs. knock-offs there is a quality difference as well.
Besides Abercrombie- I keep going back to Aerie and love them!! Their bike shorts- bathing suits- casual pool slides- T’s- dresses- easy breezes for summer!
There really needs to be an in depth investigation into who is benefitting from Britney’s conservator ship and maybe find a way to appoint a completely unbiased person to oversee her income and her medical treatments. Someone who is taking prescription medication for psychiatric illness probably should be in birth control because of the birth defects that can occur. It’s hard to know where to draw the line. I hope there is someone who can speak for her best interests. I’m not sure anyone involved with her is there for the right reasons. 💕
I’m all for a good “look for less” item, but I think it’s really obnoxious when they blatantly copy every single aspect of a designer shoe, bag, etc. A lot of people who have the real thing can still tell when someone is wearing a copy, and a lot of the time the knock offs don’t last as long because they aren’t made as well…and the shoes can be more uncomfortable due to lesser quality materials. I notice with the Steve Madden “Rockstud” shoes that the studs are obviously low quality and they really hurt my feet. The real Valentino sandals are much nicer and better quality…& made in Italy rather than China which is also a plus. People can buy whatever they want, and some people don’t want to pay for the designer name, but there is a difference in quality, comfort, and longevity. There just is. It’s so worth it to save up for the real thing, and maybe even try to get them on sale. I’d much rather have a few quality designer items that will last me forever than a hundred copycat items that aren’t as good and won’t last that long. It really bugs me when brands do copycat designs. It’s not out of the ordinary for designers to jump on a similar trend and maybe get inspiration from each other, but copying things exactly from the high end designer is just wrong.
