I adored the ombré blue dress of Princess Victoria. A true princess moment- Quite literally! She could have been Cinderella going to the ball. I feel like Princess Victoria is hit and miss with her dresses, but I felt this one knocked it out of the park. It looked like she knew how stunning she looked too. Again- glad to see serious sparkling bling on her head.

US Authorities not allowing me and my child to leave to safety to Europe, I’m being held captive in USA and I’m being treated very bad.
I contacted the Hungarian Embassy and they are refusing any help, which is against the law because I’m family member of other EU former Politicians and I’m family member of Hungarian Politician and there’s law for Government Protection for Politician family members that Hungary Government refusing.
Im contacting Media World Wide to see if if we can publicize my life story and see if I can get help from a Government to safety.

Not understanding the significance of the gold or blue just shows the ignorance of this channel. I do agree with some comments, but overall, wow, no knowledge of Swedish culture, history or relevance.... Very sad.... INDEED
@@chavahbateli3355 I don’t watch the channel to “ understand the significance of the gowns.” This isn’t National Geographic or something! I watch it to see beautiful dresses, and sparky tiaras and Cinderella moments. Ultimately monarchies around the world are not meant to primarily provide history lessons. There’s books for that.
IMO, the main thing they do in modern society is provide glamour, and escapism and fun. That’s why they’ve survived this long.
Yes I love the blue ombré gown worn by CP Victoria. She ALWAYS wears her hair up in all State occasions.
My favourite look was Madeline’s and Victoria’s a close second. I actually think the deep citrine toppers on Sofia’s tiara would be pretty in person; she has brown eyes and the gems must echo her eye colour marvellously. I love Mary’s sparkly midnight gown but it isn’t as celebratory as you’d expect for such a grand occasion.
Love looking at all the tiaras. I think Queen Sylvia's tiara is my favorite....now THAT's a tiara! You did a good job putting this together, Brittany.
The Braganza Tiara sure is a magnificent piece of jewelry and queen Silvia does wear it well. It is however extremely heavy and uncomfortable to wear. With it’s age of almost 200 years it is also one of the oldest tiaras still in use. The swedish royal vaults contains several really old and historical pieces of jewelry.
My favorite look was Princess Victoria’s ombré dress and tiara. She looked stunning. ❤

Princess Madeleine is the epitome of a beautiful princess, and this was especially true at the Golden Jubilee. Her dress was spectacular and her hair and tiara framed her lovely face! She's my favorite of the Swedish royals! Thank you, Brittany!
Princess Madeleine would have made Sweden a beautiful Queen.
There's more to a person than beauty. Princess Madeleine is a lot like Prince Harry. She doesn't want to live in Sweden, but she wants all the perks and privileges of royalty, without any of the duty or obligation that come with it. She has responsibilities in Sweden with her Duchy that she's been ignoring for years and she doesn't even care. She wants her children to remain in the line of succession even though she's not raising or educating them in Sweden (which is against royal rules and decree). When her father had heart surgery a few years ago, she didn't even come to Sweden to be with her parents or siblings. She's just a spoiled, pampered, entitled princess who only cares about herself, in my opinion.
Princess Madeleine is without a doubt one of the most beautiful women in the world, and her tiara suits her. And I liked Crownprincess Victorias dress, and her tiara.

There are no inheritance taxes in Sweden, but it's diabolical in the UK.
They abolished it in 2005. It could be pretty bad before that depending on which parties controlled the government.
Queen Sylvia was beautiful when she was young and is still beautiful. As are both her her daughters

That Connaught tiara is beyond spectacular. It was worn by CP Victoria for Prince Carl Philip’s wedding and each time the cameras caught it from different angles it just twinkled. Absolutely gorgeous. And that massive, intricate, absolutely beautiful tiara on Queen Silvia……just wow! And, yes, I wish CP Mary would have worn that stunning ruby tiara too! It’s my fav on her.👑🩷
CP Mary's ruby tiara came from Sweden just as the Emerald tiara of Norway mentioned by someone as well...

You should have visited Denmark last year. Specifically Koldinghus Castle, because there was an exhibit about the 4 past and the current Crown Princesses of Denmark. The ruby tiara and jewels were actually displayed there then. But if you ever go to Denmark, you can see the Crown Jewel collection at Rosenborg Palace, including the Emerald tiara you talked about in the video on Danish tiaras. They are the only Crown Jewel collection on permanent display, while still frequently used.

I’ve read that royal tiaras are best seen in candlelight - which is how most of them would have originally been viewed. It’s said that electric lights don’t have nearly as beautiful an effect on diamonds as candlelight.
There's something about the Queen's tiara with the yellow dress that makes me think of it like a halo of sunshine or something. So gorgeous and in spite of its size, not garish, IMO.
The Braganza tiara was stunning!! Very magnificent!! Loveliest look overall to me was Crown Princess Victoria. I didn’t agree with you about her dress. I thought it was beautiful. Her fringe tiara sparkled the most of all the tiaras. I loved Princess Madeleine’s whole look too. I thought Queen Marguerite was the worst dressed. Then, I loved, loved, loved, absolutely the most, the tiara with the big loops & hanging diamonds that was so delicate. I’m unsure who was wearing it that night, but it was exquisite!!!! So sad about Princess Metmara (sp?) Thank you Brittany!! So awesome!! ♥️

The Norwegian Emerald tiara is a big gun and Queen Sonja wears it well. Honestly, I would be hugely surprised if Mette Marit were to wear it when she becomes queen. I read/heard that she has neck and/or headache problems which have prevented her from wearing large hats or headpieces. I think Ingrid Alexandra will be the next queen to wear that mighty tiara.

Princess Sofia's gown is sleek, modern and very flattering to her complexion and her figure. The amber accents on the sleeves complement the toppers on the tiara. Princess Sofia dresses herself appropriately and elegantly while honoring the occasion, and she uses the one tiara she has in the most varied ways that she can.

We actually don’t have inheritance taxes in Sweden… Queen Silvia grew up in Brasilia and partly in Germany. So brazil and german are her two main languages.

I'm not a fan of the various fringe tiaras. I especially don't care for the British fringe one (there's just something about it that's a turn-off), but I was surprised at how beautiful the Swedish fringe tiara is. CP Victoria looked fabulous in it.
Speaking of CP Victoria, I saw her in another very lovely tiara not too long ago. Very simple with a lower band base of diamonds under a single strand arch of diamonds that has a large, single, central pendant diamond. It's minimalist but striking. Most of the modern tiaras throughout the various monarchies leave much to be desired, but this lovely piece is a modern classic. I hope everyone gets to see it. Quite a delight. 🍃
I think the tiara you are referring to is the Boucheron Laurel Wreath Tiara. It sure is a great piece and Victoria looks fantastic wearing it. And just as you say it has a modern look to it even if it is a heirloom piece that once where given to her great grandmother Princess Margaret in 1905.
This tiara is convertible and can also be worn as a necklace with or without the large pear shaped diamond pendant.
This tiara is personal property of Victoria since she inherited it from her great aunt Princess Lilian in 2013.

Princess Madeleine is the ultimate " fairy princess" .... totally beauriful. If you stay at The Connaught when you are next in London, you will correct your pronunciation.

I love the tiaras. To put it nicely: the gowns were questionable. My favorite was the last tiara, the Norwegian tiara. I’d love the an episode or episodes discussing the background of those royal tiaras.

Princess Madeleine wins best, by far. The tiaras worn by queens look massive. I liked the red dress worn by Greece (?), but not sure color was right for ‘golden’ celebration. Curious what the estimated ages, karats and values are of the tiaras shown. Be cool if pics maps and family trees could be inserted in videos.

Some Royals count the centuries, not the carats.
The “problem” with trying to put a value on tiaras like the Braganza, the pearl poire or the norwegian emerald tiara is the factor of history......royal jewelry is measured more in age and family connections than material value. The Braganza Tiara was made in the end of the 1820’s and has remained unchanged since it’s construction.
Queen Margrethe said in 2009/10 "we dont count the carets, we count the centuries"

The magnificent Braganza tiara and it's history! Empress Amelia was so beautiful and kind to give this tiara to her sister, as her only daughter had died in her youth.
I absolutely love Princess Sophia’s diamond Palmette tiara with all the additional gemstone toppers. Perhaps King Adolph was profiting from what happened to Queen Margarethe of Denmark and didn’t want to gift a family heirloom to a daughter-in-law only to lose it if a divorce happened? This way Sofia has her own tiara and can modify it accordingly based on what colored gown she wears. I can’t wait to see ruby toppers worn with a ruby red dress!

I still can’t remember names but I love the aquamarines. One of the main places in the world to find that beautiful aquamarine is the Rocky Mtns in the IS. I was startled.

It’s strange that Crownprincess Victoria’s fringe tiara sparkles beautifully but the UK tiaras often looks rather dull. Very sad.

Ooooh so many sparklers. I especially loved that tiara with the loops and dangling diamonds. I can’t remember the names of the tiaras, they sound so odd.
I have to say I agree with you on Queen Sylvia's outfit, although gold is a hard color for almost everyone to wear, I think the style wasn't a good choice for her. When you look at pictures of Princess Victoria and pictures of her mother they look so much alike. I have an Aunt and cousin who look almost exactly alike both beautiful. Lucky for them, for me, I was blessed (sort 0f ) with my father's features, but, you take what you get. LOL Victoria is so beautiful, love her gown and she's wearing my favorite tiara, but I often wonder why the same hairdo? As for her sister, another beauty with a very pretty tiara. Don't hate me but I don't think Madeline's hubby is aging very well, he looks older than his years and a little bloated. Thanks for this video.
