This EP is about disconnection and reconnection. How Day's mom handled the situation with Mhok and Day when they come home from the Mountain is very calm but very harsh, still very understandable because she's a mom. Day forgiving Night is everything, this is all he wanted, to be forgiven by Day. We will protect Day and Mhok because they deserve all the happiness. Lots of people got frustrated to Day's mom. Actually I've never heard her she's against about having relationship with his son. She even knows Day has crushed on August. She's just focus on "caretaking" for Day. Because she said "someone can take care him literally" when she's talking to Mhok at the hospital. So that means as a "caretaker" - maybe financially or just care. By the way, like your reaction

At first, I was like Mom you're a little strict but everything she did was valid she was just being a Mom and she didn't play about Days wellbeing Mhok had to prove he could take care of Day.
