Lots of people got frustrated to Day's mom. Actually I've never heard her she's against about having relationship with his son. She even knows Day has crushed on August. She's just focus on "caretaking" for Day. Because she said "someone can take care him literally" when she's talking to Mhok at the hospital. So that means as a "caretaker" - maybe financially or just care. By the way, like your reaction

At first I was ranting like you did 😅. But I will point Day's side. First, We know Day is still young and make decision out of his emotion (ex when he fired Mhok in ep2). Second, Day has been showing independency in this ep but Mhok worries for nothing. His unnecessary anxiety showed so much in here and knowing Day wants to be treated normally. Third, Mhok lied about the job. Day was glad when Mhok opened about the job offer and he was even happier, it's an overseas job and a big opportunity for him. Lastly, his trauma about his sister. Day doesn't know anything about this. All he knows Mhok's sister has passed on (the fact Porjai told this to Day not Mhok). They are in relationship. But I think Day felt he was not trusted. About the "pity" thing- I think Day knows that's not pity but he used that to let go Mhok and pursue the job. But When Mhok cried hardly - I cried too - when you said he has only Day 😭😭😭.

I agree that the break up is a little bit extreme but I understand both sides, clearly Mhok loves and worry about Day so much that's why he didn't want to leave but throughout the EP showed that Day can do things on his own and he wanted to be treated normally. Also Mhok lied about not getting, if he told the truth and talked it out, they might have a better outcome. That flashback about the phone call really broke me, it's Rung 😭😭😭 Wonderful reaction my Queen Tokiosodapop, I'm excited for the finale reaction.

This EP is about disconnection and reconnection. How Day's mom handled the situation with Mhok and Day when they come home from the Mountain is very calm but very harsh, still very understandable because she's a mom. Day forgiving Night is everything, this is all he wanted, to be forgiven by Day. We will protect Day and Mhok because they deserve all the happiness. EP 9 might be the most memorable and beautiful scene for this series, EP 10 is still the best EP. Wonderful reaction Tokiosodapop, sorry I'm late watching this.
