Hey! I am currently visiting family, so accommodation is sorted, and so is the visa issue. Depending on where you want to stay, there are many Airbnbs. The average price is currently 1300 EUR/mo. Its gone expensive since the Russia - Ukraine war, especially in the Islands. If you are looking for long-term rent, at least 1 year, the options are cheaper-though you would need to look for Facebook groups of foreigners living in Spain, at times their leases finish or they need to leave and the house owner may allow a transfer. Regarding work, it depends. I am here temporarily and work for a foreign company, so regarding tax, I pay where I am employed. Being a foreigner, the only issue for you will be staying longer than 3 months, so you will need a digital nomad visa. You may get taxed here; however, normally, countries have treaties where you pay tax only in one country.
@@KunalSC this is really helpful thank you for all the information. The new UK visa requirements certainly do make it a bit more tricky to do this now - do you go up to Las Palmas much, I am unsure if LP or the south would be better on a longer basis
