- This is the external view of garden lodge in Kensington where Freddie Mercury the front man of the band Queen lived and also lost his life on 24th November 1991.
I was there years and years ago. I even heard the voice of Mary.

I believe it will be left to her son or sons can't remember how many she has, unless she has made any different arrangements. But we will see when the time comes.

Who know: Maybe someday when it’s no longer Mary’s private residence, it might be opened to the public like Elvis’ Graceland here in The States. Wouldn’t that be wonderful!
No matter what, whoever owns it/is in charge of it will be mindful of Garden Lodge’s connection to Freddie; it’s inescapable really, because his fans are so numerous and ardent.
@@marciebulsaraorcutt it would be great if it was opened up but the downside with all his stuff going to auction there won't be any of his stuff left to see.

I walked by there coming back from seeing Meat Loaf at Film Comic Con wish I’d had some to take a picture of me by the famous Garden Lodge gate. I expect you know Freddie Mercury also spent his final days and died in that house. x
