What a good writer, using anything to fix his style of writing. 80% of getting canceled he turned that into 80% of humanity getting wiped out and that 20% of getting accepted he changed that joy of acceptance to 20% of humanities joy of not getting wiped out. I don't really cry at things easily but damn it.. I couldn't help it. As an aspiring author and writer myself, I felt it in my bones when he said that he wishes all creators to just do their thing, even with a 80% chance of being cancelled and never making it. Attack on Titan made an immerse impact on my life as it gave shape to my passion, gave me purpose to work towards my dream...even with all present challenges that may come. This is the impact Attack on Titan has had, and it'll continue to have in the future. There may come a story one day which might be better than Attack on Titan. But no matter what, there will be NOTHING like this ever again. It was an experience, a lesson that will stay will me forever, and ever.

Yeah, I still cannot understand some of the details. For example, a glimpse of memories when some characters touch each other - I don’t understand for sure when and how this happens, but those visions seem to be related to such concept as love. When Ymir sent her love notes (an envelope) - by touching this, Historia got her memories in visions. Reiner got his glimpse of a vision when he touched one of the kids he was protecting, his sole reason to live basically. Zeke was desperately trying to «rescue» his lovely brother Eren, and got his glimpse of memories too. And of course, Eren touched Historia… I’m guessing there’s some hidden message behind that. Maybe Eren/Historia loved each other. It doesn’t seem the characters themselves figured out what those visions are, and how and why they appear. That’s entirely from my own perspective. And I kinda assume there’s an amount of unspoken messages like this. Though maybe I’m overthinking. I don’t know.

I will never forget it in my lifetime. This was a masterpiece, I am so grateful to Hajime Isayama and I hope he will spawn more of his great work. I am convinced that nothing will beat AoT in my heart. I would like to see anyone try and I hope, but I doubt. it was just too freaking great of an anime. I am speechless and I feel so empty after finishing AoT, I don't know what to watch now... I feel like I lost a child tbh. I'm gonna miss seeing and looking forward to more of Eren and Armin and Mikasa.

I never liked anime till I watched this show and Beserk. However, I found this to be the best show I ever watched. Since episode 1 I was fully captivated.

You'd think that success stories with so much struggle as Isayama's would warrant the big-wigs of the creative world to explore more and be a bit less harsh on products.
I swear, every successful series I've watched has been met with so much resistance, including this and even Stranger Things. Shit, even Spiderman got a run for its money back when it was pitched.

My goal was to be in the 20% of those manga that survived. I see what you did there sensei.
