Thanks. Your guide is quiet and calm not rushing with the information like other people who drops a lot of into in 1 minute and think you will understand. Very nice video.
Also with Green. Green will shoot at the player that's the farthest from it which will drop a pool when it connects with the player. The targeted player will get muffled audio and a border on their screen.
I really like your step by step guide video! Summary videos gave me a rough idea, but the moment I did it with some newbies and experienced players, it all became a mess at around the 6:33 mark. All the mechanics just flew out of my head and it took all my concentration dodging (and still die anyway from the push and pull mechanics).
In the first phase, if you don't CC, it doesn't look like you get the Exposed buff. You don't do any dmg until the attack is done anyway so I think it was designed to break the bar and it's more a positioning mechanic.
I wanted to place a waystation but I got the error that there are too many waystations placed already. But there were no waystations placed. Is this a bug?
Hi ! Quick question. I did the strike today aswell. But at the beginning you and my party said to not CC, while if we CC them they got the "broken" debuff (not quiet sure for the debuff's name in english; might be exposed ?). So my question is, wouldn't it be better to CC the boss at the beginning to gain some extra dps ? Anyway thanks for the video pal !
For red, Cc'ing means you have to run away from the boss, thus you have to delay dealing your opening damage, especially as a melee build. For green and blue, if your cc is reliable you should. Just stand on the "danger" side which will flip to "safe". In the later phases you can't cc the knight that's vulnerable anyway, so it depends on your fight plan (move to safe or flip to safe) and how reliable your cc is. If you do cc a secondary knight, i believe it will be exposed at the start of it's turn but not 100% on that point.
i thought the green watchknight spawn the circle when he's auto attack last hit (a necro skill icon appear) appear and someone got hit by it, then green tether will spawn
im not 100% sure but thats what it seemed like to me, they were doing the tether at the same time as the hit, not waiting to confirm if it hits anything
Hi! Do you have a guide or link to the build you're using in the video? I like what I see here! Is it the same traits and gear as your willbender one build for all gamemodes with just some tweaks on the skills?
@@jonasginzovaz7075 if you cant run the suggested stats, im not going to tell you that i suggest going another thing, because if you cant use the suggested stats then you wouldn't be able to use other stats anyway so just use what you have
You want to CC all the bosses every time without fail in my opinion. There is no reason not to do, sure you can optimize your kill times for CM, but needless risk is needless on normal mode. Why not to CC? - You want to control when to CC. - You don't have enough CC in the Squad. - You want to min-max the dmg at the start by stacking conditions. - You CC only when Commander says so so it is simple gameplay. - You avoid having to run across the battlefield just to CC. Why should you CC? + You avoid Accidentally braking the defiance bar which throws people off and at worst just causes a wipes the squad. + You always know to brake all defiance bars which makes it simple gameplay. + No need to Second Guess if you should brake the defiance bar or not. + Most groups have easily more than enough CC. + The arena is always gonna be larger if you CC. My conclusion: Always CC All Brake Bars. You lose some DPS uptime and sometimes you are already in the safe zone but if you agreed to CC all defiance bars you just run and brake the defiance bar and move to the safe zone. Need better CC? Condi Virtuosa has 1200 range 800cc and extra ~400 on Focus 4 and Sword 4. Add Elite Signet for additional 600cc. Power Mech has F2, F3, Rifle 3, 4 as well Mine over Grenade Kit which is around 800cc from ~1200 range. Those two builds are easy to play 👍 and the range in the CC is nice. Low CC is anything below 400cc high CC is anything above 1200cc Average is 500cc to 1000cc what I have been able to come understand. You should easily have more than enough CC 👍 catalyst has least CC as I know 👍 and those are rare. You don't often go running 8 Catalysts and even then you STILL need enough CC to brake them or you can't make the CC phases 😂 so if you can CC and make it to safety you can brake all Defiance bars.
i kinda wished the CC phase was more complicated and demanded more attention, like breaking one CC bar so that the patter reverses and then you have a savespot inside that watchknights pattern but due to their positioning, its always different which one to CC and where to go to be safe. still disappointed that anet did an anet and abandonded raids for strikes

Crazy fight. Joined a training run last night, had a lot of fun. Looking forward to more runs.

Great explanation! The strike is pretty fun.
Thank you! :) Awesome job with explaining everything :)

This is really helpful, ty
Thank you for this 👍👍👍
What I still have trouble understanding are the big round red death pools. What triggers those? Just random, or linked to some mechanic?
theyre all listed in the text guide but essentially red auto chain, blue tether, green tether
@@Vallun aahh ok. I got the tethers, but the auto attack chain one from red is a bit less clear to recognize.
Awesome, ty for the guide :)

remove risk wiping, or get a little more DPS. It's your choice

Nice another not moving piniatas to the game... Perfect
