The front wheel spacers will only push the fork stanchions out causing them to rub in the tubes and your suspension to bind up when compressed. Why does the number of spokes cause an issue at the rear?
Often times people use a 36 spoke rim for the rear hub which is a 32. Common mistake that we see here guys running the wrong rim at back on their Hondas. Other brands run 36.
I assume he means if you were buying the rim only and tried spoking it to the existing hub, I think many of us are going to buy the entire wheel already sorted and doesnt matter how many spokes it comes with.

@@TheManoy66 thanks for your reply. so front rim 3.5 17 wheel 110/70 17 & rear rim 4.25 17 wheel 150/60 17 for supermoto right. how about dual wheels? cuz dual wheels bigger so i need to change the rim smaller right
Hi bro, got question again for you, hope its ok for you to answer me. For the rim 4.25 x 17 rear rim 3.50 x 17 front the inner strip or tape, using tubeless tyre what did you use? Thanks.
If i'm not mistaken your bike is rolling on 2.75x17 front rim and a 3.50x17 rear. The largest tire you can install on your stock wheels is 110/70-17 & 130/70-17. If you want to go bigger i recommend you go with a 3.50x17 front rim and a 4.25x17 rear rim. You can go as big as 150/60-17 on the new rear rim
Sounds ok. But i think you would be better with a 110/70-17 for the front tire. If your front rim was at least a 3.00x17 then the 120 tire is ok. Your rear tire ok but a bit on the maximum limit of your 3.50 rim already
Yes you can use tubes. 3.50 x 17 for the front and 4.50 for the rear. You can also mod your wheels to become tubeless if you want. Might make a video on that soon. 😉
@@muddyboots-mac no bro. We don't use rim locks on our bikes. The only time we use those if we go do some offroad on full knobbies running extra low tire pressures.

Nice content for those who wants to change to supermoto. At last this is the video i m looking for, thank you for the video. Need your advice on my CRF250L 2014 on the front rim engrave J21 x 1.60 and the rear rim is J18 x 2.15. Some recommed for the front tyre 90/90-17 and rear 120 or 130/80 or 140/70-17. May I know what is your opionion on these, Cheers from Brunei.
Thank you! Those tires would be undersized for your bike. Here at the shop we always go with the standard size for the CRF250/300L. 4.25 x 17 rear rim 3.50 x 17 front. 150/60-17 rear tire and 110/70-17 for the front
@@TheManoy66 The problem supplier already sent the wheels to the forwarder and ready for sihipment. So i got no choice and with the rear 36 spokes what is the effect. The other alternative is to get another rear wheel with 32 spokes but that is very costly and not sure anyone will buy it my 36 spoke rear wheels. Please give me an idea what is the besti i can do rather than buying another rear wheels. Thanks bro.
If 110 ka no sayad na. Basta CRF250/300 recommend namin 110/70. Added benefit is better lean angle and sharper steering. Compared sa 120 na malaki ung contact patch, which is nice naman, kaya lang sumayad sa forks. Tendency nyan is damage ung tire mo and ung fork seals mo.

What is the problem with different number of spokes on the rear?
Could you use CB300R wheels and tires on the CRF300L?
wonderful ❤
Can you write the rim and tire link? and brake lamp ? thank you ❤️
Hello. Good video. Do you know how much is needed to trim the fork guards to clear the wider from tire?
Hey man thanks!
If you're running a 120 tire up front you will need to trim an inch off.
Do you have to offset the rear so it doesn't rub on the chain? I'm planning on mounting 150/70/17 anakee wild on my 4.25x17 rim
Yes. Try lining up your rim with the brake rotor.
Love the build! Which front fender is that?
Its from Acerbis
What is the length/size of spokes you used for front, & rear?
