The most popular character in that game is Sans, he somehow even got added into super smash bros ultimate, but only as a skin. That's what inspired me to make these animations with him fighting Galeem and Dharkon since you can play the story mode in super smash bros ultimate as sans if you like. To answer your question, no sans isn't really that strong. Ironically, he preaches pacifism in Undertale, and seems to be generally against violence. Regardless, he is one of Undertale's final bosses, and tries to stop you if you decide to take the evil route in the game. He knows the player can reset the game and try again, so he knows he can't kill you. Only in such a context would sans seriously fight anyone. The Undertale fandom, likes to pretend that he is invincible and cocky, because of the strong impression he gives in the game. Even I like to depict him this way. The canon sans wouldn't dare fight Galeem, he wouldn't even stand a chance. I just think it's more satisfying for the fandom's depiction of Sans to fight Galeem since it's less certain who would win in that situation.
