Just in case you missed any of the many small details in this battle, I've made a comprehensive description of the whole thing right here:
Phase 1:
It begins with Meta and Dedede staring down Tesseract Knight, a sinister smile can be seen in the reflection of Tesseract's sword. In Meta knight's sword "Galaxia" a reflection of a memory can be seen. In this memory, Meta Knight is reading a book titled "My Little Pony: Smile HD" to Kirby in bed. Kirby looks elated. He swings his sword and cuts up the massive wings' tesseract grew. Tesseract was going to use the massive wings in an attack, but don't worry, they use that attack later, so you're not missing out. Tesseract uses the hammer copy ability and hits Dedede out of the galaxy. Then, they use the super variant of the hammer ability called "Grand Hammer" to hit him back at Meta Knight as a projectile, but Meta is quick on the draw and catches Dedede with his Ambidextrous Polymelia ability. Next Tesseract uses the whip ability, and snags Meta knight's sword and flings him. Now that Meta knight loses his grip on the sword Tesseract uses it to try and cut Dedede by flinging it right back on the end of their whip, but Dedede counters with his hammer, but doing so causes his hammer to get stuck, then Tesseract sends Dedede flying at Meta knight. They both get knocked into the air. Now Tesseract uses the first of many new abilities in this fight. The super variant of the whip ability "Wrath Whip." Meta and Dedede dodge the attack, but it can be seen (Playfully) cleaving a star apart. Meta and Dedede both fly down to either side of Tesseract, and Meta knight picks up Galaxia. They both unleash attacks at the same time, but Tesseract wops out the super variant of the mirror ability, "Dimented mirror" (It's styled after Dimentio from Super Paper Mario) and unleashes a wave of energy, enhancing the power of their enemies' attacks and reversing their trajectory. (This is also a subtle reference to "Rhabdophobia" Betty's special attack from Glitchtale.) Meta Knight creates a shield to defend himself, but it's only just enough, and breaks after the last hit, stunning him briefly. Dedede however is successfully able to deflect all of the attacks, only to get speed blitzed by tesseract, who uses the sword copy ability to cut off Dedede's right arm. Meta knight intervenes before Tesseract can land the finishing blow, and punches Tesseract in the face. Dedede is able to temporarily replace his arm with one made out of ice. (This also slows down his blood flow, so he can last longer without medical attention) Meanwhile, meta knight unleashes his special attack, the full potential of Ambidextrous Polymelia, but Tesser' is too quick to 'act, and uses the super varient of the copy copy ability, called "Simula-Copy" It's the copy ability that has the power to copy other's abilities. Isn't that crazy? Imagine that right? So now Tesseract stole meta knight's special attack and immediately countered and ripped all of meta knight extra arms off. Ouch, that left meta stunned long enough for tesseract to rush in and slice at him with their sword ability. If Galacta didn't intervene at this point Meta knight would have been cut in half, which meta wouldn't be able to regenerate from. That means he could have died right there, but Galacta did intervene and skewered Tesseract on the end of his spear. Tesseract malds, and seethes at the attack only to get hit again and again by more follow-up spears. Meta knight sees his other rival Galacta Knight, enter the fray, and recalls the past encounters with him. But meta is surprised to see that they had a common enemy, so Galacta is willing to work together this time. The three of them stand together and look up upon the sight above them...
