Having options is what causes procrastination from what I’ve observed.
I had the choice to go climbing or to hit the gym, or to play games, or go to work. Shit took me 30min to figure out what I should do. Once I realized I had to many options and just said fuck it the choice came naturally

Procrastinate is a term used as an assessment of behavior. Almost all people are mistaken on how human behavior works.
Because of this, the term procrastinate, at best, is not very useful and at worst damaging.

Being yourself gives you confidence. Confidence = success
    2) Live an interesting life = Pursue a lifestyle filled with your passions and the shared interests of those who are close to you
3)Break out of your comfort zone so as to not become complacent
4)Be in the moment so you when you share an interesting story while being in the moment, you are fully capturing peak interest.

"No one ever sits down and zones in on details about strangers"
I've always done this. I've always been observant of everything as much as I can. this is literally a thing classic 2d animators do. they'll sit in a public location and just study the people who pass as part of thier studies. I doubt many other than me practices this technique though, so your practically correct. This does mean though that 90% when people are actively paying attention like that when most wouldn't, it problibly means they are an artist.

Only reason I clicked on this video is to say, you are not boring. Be yourself, doesn’t matter what others think of you. People could think your boring, but you have to do what makes you happy and you have to make yourself happy before anything else. Let people think what they want let them be wrong. As long as you are honest with yourself you will attract people who will love you for who you are, even if you’ve spent your whole life lonely, I promise you you will meet people one day that you are going to love and they will love you back just the same, it’ll be beautiful. Never give up on yourself because you are important no matter what anybody thinks of you. Now click off this video and know that you are not boring.

While what you said is true, Julian does try to teach authenticity while also teaching about confidence, getting out of your comfort zone, and just general socialization. A shy and insecure person is certainly lovable and deserving of love. That still doesn't mean that the person necessarily has proper social skills or will attract healthy relationships. Everyone is lovable and no one is boring. It's simply about, if you really want open social skills outside of your shell, you have to try new things and break the barriers to new experiences and connections and conversations.

      @TheLastOfTheSurvivors 2 роки тому

The kind of person he is talking about doesn’t exist. It is horrible advice to tell someone that “normal people” don’t judge those around them. Everyone is looking at those around them to some extent, we notice weirdos just as much as we notice 10/10s. Looking average and being average means you’ll probably be forgotten first after someone notices you. This is what the speaker experiences and claims as the normal when he’s never experienced a lot of the things he speaks about.

Middle of last year I was at the peak of overcoming my anxiety. I felt like I could literally do anything. I practiced not caring what others thought, doing things without thinking and looking to the bright side of things. After a few months of constant practice, I honestly felt like no one could stop me from doing anything. It was honestly the best few months of my life. It lasted only for a few months though. I caved in and fell into bad habits again. I'm going to do it again! First step is to just stop thinking and get up and go do the thing you're thinking about right now. Start with that micro step!

This should be called "How to not care about whether you are boring or not". the whole idea is to eliminate anxiety because we all know essentially that it is the fear of the uncertain and such. you must let go of mental attachments and micro adjustments in order to find your center. this is why meditation works. focusing on the breath dissociates your conscious awareness from micro adjusting and beings your focus to the motion of the body in congruence with the cosmic energy that brings us life and that which makes up the environment you acclimate to. you must understand your emotions and limitations before creating the life you desire to live.

Kinda reminds me of when Julien talked about when he first moved to LA
Lived with a bodybuilder on a blow up matress or some shit. And would pull girls to the bathroom. Its just stimulating to the girl.
Even if your room is messy or something, some guys use that as an excuse but in reality it just makes the story more fun
Positive or Negative. Its still more drama and entertainment. Think about a movie, if its too predictable and positive its boring
I like the idea of giving the girl a full range of emotions. Just something different than the next guy that makes you stand out.

Same, as someone with Asperger’s it was very hard for me to build self awareness, as the only thing that ever ran through my head was “what are they thinking”. It was like a paranoia born from the anxiety that comes with the disorder. It took me a while to realize that people only care about themselves. I’ve learned to see that and avoid people like that, and only make friends with people as equally fucked as I. I watched this video because I’m forcing myself out of my comfort zone by learning to be the center of attention, cause the only way I learn is if I’m uncomfortable and the only way I’m uncomfortable is when I force myself to be and that takes work and planning, one of which I’m incredible at and the other I never did growing up because I was too anxious that they would change slightly and I would have a mental breakdown. I’m very high and forgot why I started typing this so ig you enjoyed reading it? 😅🤷🏼

I can barely handle what Ive got! Live a more interesting life just sounds exhausting. Work, kids and a home is my life. And that is ok. And what has helped? Completely quit social media. If theres no possibility I can become interesting by sharing into the social media void, theres no reason to feel bad about living a slower, less interesting life. Im also terrible at telling stories. I had to accept that as well. I dont have the brain for it. So even if I had an interesting life, I wouldn't be able to share it in an interesting way lol. However, the combination of those two statements brings up a certain percentage of people who are observant but just don't care. So either way, people aren't nit-picking every small detail about you. On one hand, you may have people look at you and guarantee, they made a judgment or observation but that's all they did. A very insignificant thought in the entirety of all thoughts ever.

honestly i do notice the way people even strangers look- they arent just "blurry"... And then create an image in my head of who that person is and form an opinion of them, even if I dont remember later. Im always judging people around me too(i know its not healthy, but almost everyone does) based on how they act or look. And if you're a friend, then I'll absolutely notice any changes in your appearance, like new earrings or lip tint or not wearing a jacket for once. My friends notice stuff about me too, like my "perfect" eyeliner or my nails. This goes for the classroom too, i noticed when my history teacher got a new hairstyle or some guy got a haircut(which was horrible) or when my maths teacher shaved off his beard.

All my cousins and family members are extroverts they are living the average life living on the average dreams. I have bIG dreams and I don't want to be average (nothing wrong with it) but u can choose to step yourself out of "society norms and expectations" its not a race and you shouldn't care of what others think of you and your long term Goals.

In the grand scheme of things people won’t notice what you’re doing or what you look like, but not people are actively looking at and judging those around them. How do you know you’re in a safe area if you aren’t judging your surroundings. To say no one is outside people watching is the same as saying no one inside their home looking at social media judging their friends and network.
