This video is a helpful and compact explanation of all i have learn about psycology and spirituality in the last months, and, also, an entertaining one, with good edition and a gently voice. Surprisingly, it only has 515 views at this moment. Clearly deserve more. Good job man, cheers.

5:50 - 6:21 is so true and makes sense for me. My mind is constantly "hopping or floating everywhere", and thus not feeling like "in present". So my my brain is chronically tired, "packed" and sometimes overwhelmed, even in sleeping because I feel like I'm spend energy and not resting in my dreams too, but I guess my mind is trying to help me numb my emotions in a dysfunctional coping way. Sometimes I have multiple tabs of thoughts that my mind gets stuck in forming flowing comprehensive sentences, especially in speaking, which sometimes if left uncontrolled I'd go on and on until I pour out all those relevant tabs of thoughts. Idk how to put it but I guess you probably can understand what I mean. Even this video (or any video with high volume of info to digest) and this comment I have to actively refocus my mind back on the points lol
I wonder if there's a correlation between this tendency and people with a "inner voice", because apparently some people don't have an inner voice or can't visualize things or sounds, and that to me just sounds like their mind is clear and in present all the time. Semi-mindfulness thing was effective for me by feeling my brain and relaxing it but only when I get into "the zone" which requires some time of inconsistent length though, it's difficult, the breathing technique effects are too short and get me anxious instead, so I guess I'll try the roommate thing which sounds potentially effective for me.
Anyway, this is helpful. Surprised to be the first comment but I'll take it. Thank you! :)

      Glad you liked it!
I've also had many times where I felt like my mind was so overwhelmed that even in sleeping it couldn't relax. There's a famous old video clip of the yogi Paramahansa Yogananda saying "You people don't sleep correctly". I think partially because we tend to either repress or react to our emotions and thoughts throughout the day, we end the day with unprocessed information.
I hope you find the inner roommate exercise helpful! I certainly have. It's a good way to start to release some of the inner tension between "you" and your thoughts.
