I use both of these companies depending on the destination and requirements of entry. If you are going to be abroad for a long time and/or don't need as much coverage, I would recommend SafetyWing. BUT you cannot purchase SafetyWing WHILE in Canada or USA. You can only purchase once already abroad. Freedom feels fantastic!
If you are worried about eating very spicy food, just say in Thai: "mai-ped" or "not spicy". Being very nice people the Thais will do their best to accommodate a farang (white person). Don't forget to sign up for a cruise down the Chao Phraya River; you can usually book the cruise through your hotel consierge. One month in Thailand, I am so jealous (grounded here in NYC).

during the covid-19 the city is more relax,not pretty much traffic. more quiet but still stunning and beautiful especially in the old town and the grand palace area.

I miss Bangkok so much. Was there three times and stayed for a month each time. A piece of my heart will always be there. I'm from San Francisco and Red Bluff (Northen California) and we love spicy foods. I was at home in Thailand. I used to eat all the hot peppers and chilis they gave me plus all of the peppers out of the fish sauce. By the way, you are beautiful! Always loved Canadian women!
