Fix CS2 Mic Not Working - Counter Strike 2 Voice Chat Issues

i think it is a cs2 problem because my mic is fine on other games and on discord but on cs2 it is sometimes cut off or too quiet

None of this worked my CS shows that my mic is trying to say something when I press V but it doesn’t have the little waves showing that what I’m saying is going through. I tried resetting all my settings but that didn’t help either :/

Still not working after trying everything mentioned. Valve please fix.
I play with my brother and sister and while I see the mic activated on my screen when I pressed to talk, they dont see my mic activated on theirs. They have the same issue. So weird, we never had that issue with csgo

Problem is definately from the new CS2 update. The VOIP is now voice activated aswell as push to talk. Whereas it was truely one or the other before. If your gains aren't high enough then the mic is not picking up to activate. And when it does it usually cuts off the first word since that first word is used to activated it.
They just need to go back to when you hold the mic your name would show up.
It also used to let us know when someones mic doesnt work or is muted...

i changed headset and now it doesnt come any sound ingame, i can hear myself when testing the mic in cs but i doesnt work in voicechat

to me it only works if "hear your own voice" option is enabled, but whenever I try to enable it the game just changes it back to off as soon as I close settings

i can hear myself with the hear my own voice in cs2 settings on and the mic works well but won’t work in game,my mates can’t hear me and the microphone animation in bottom left is not moving as well thanks for cs2 making me TYPE

The problem is not with the mic, because I activate the option to hear my voice outside the game and everything is fine, but when I enter CS the game simply does not detect my voice, but the mic is fine, any solution?

guys if you have noice in cs2 , i found a solution for it just change the frequence of the mic from the proprties and it will fixed ; That's it :)

Ok so like i use my earphones or headset like i use my laptop to game and when I connect it doest show a different name for my earphones it's the same as lapotps speaker or mic name so like instead of Laptop mic my earphone was working so I just went to cs2 and like set to the laptops audio and mic then i just kept that volume to -120 then tested by hearing my own voice and it worked thnxxx

i just ran some tests with voice_loopback enabled
my mic just cuts out or doesnt transmit randomly
it doesn't matter how loud i talk or how long i hold the push to talk for
all my settings are fine. other games and apps don't do this.
there is a serious bug, it's really broken
