I have a 2006 RK Classic and I just went to hard bags myself over the weekend however mine fit perfect along with the saddlebag guards and rails. There is a difference in spacing that I see your bags have that make them stick out more on the top as mine do not. Also my bags are OEM for the year so they are the older style bags. sorry yours didn't come out as planned, but I can tell you that your brace for the rails are inside out as the 2 screws are meant to be on the inside. Hope you find a solution Mike
Whats up Sr. Gordo! I didnt catch I had put that brace on wrong until after I edited the video. Im going to take another look at the brackets again to see if I can bring them in without hitting the shocks, if I can, i might re-order them and give it another run. Thanks for watching bro.
11 years ago I installed these guards on my 2012 FLHTK. I think these rails make the Harley look cool. I'm Old School , riding Harley since 1978. I will always stay with the Classic look..Install is a 2 Beer install...The Bag Rails weren't meant for those extended bags and fillers.. No disrespect..
Im with you Freddie, love that old school look. Ive gotten a few ideas that might these actually work. Going to do some testing to see if I can still make it happen; Ill just have to reorder them. Makin Amazon earn that Prime fee they charge these days. Appreciated you watching.
I had fair for something I got from wife coming up on a video. Just looking at could not shorting the brackets that your bag bolt to move top on bag in some
@@TheBlueBikeDoyle I like that idea, I'll need to take a look to see if the room is there or if it will hit the top. Making the bracket shouldnt be too hard to do.
Ohhhh man 😢, it was looking real nice. But glad you noticed the bars rubbing the bags.
Great video ❤❤❤
I think a lot of guys wouldn’t have uploaded this. Glad you did. Learned a lot. Love your approach. Keep it up. Thanks.
Hey Adam, really appreciate the feedback and thank you for watching.
