I'm a 45 year old punk rocker, and, admitted music snob, who has never had any interest in any type of pop, but, AG has made me a fan. Their sound is incredibly diverse, blending all sorts of genres, and, their charisma,personalities, and, their sense of fun is infectious.
Beastie Boys producer, Money Mark, worked with them in their most recent songs. They kick ass, they have some heavy jazz songs, some really 80's pop, indie, punkish, edm, rap. Also, they go deep in Japanese sociocultural criticism but trough positivity on their lyrics. They are the anti Idols basically
Weirdly lots of metal fans like AG, me included. I have zero interest in “pop” or dance groups but AG just hits for me. Their music is varied with jazz, rock, pop, electronic and rap all genres in songs. Add to that the message, choreography, sense of humor and amazing live performances. Hell you might catch Suzuka crowd surfing and going into crowds in shows. My favorite is Koi Geba and Otona Blue is a huge hit for them (One Take performance is 🔥)
Excellent reaction. AG has been together since 2015. Lead singer Suzuka (glasses) and Rin (braid) were 14, Kanon (straight hair) was 13 and Mizyu (twin pigtails) was 17. They are trained dancers and do their own choreography. A couple of YT videos show a bit of their process but they all contribute and Mizyu is the main journal recorder of the routine. They do adapt routines for different stages or events. AG has written a few of their songs or contributed to the lyrics. Never boring or predictable. Definitely worth your reaction time. Check out their dance practice videos. Enjoy the AG experience.

They have done a Beastie Boys cover of Intergalactic. I really like the use of the same brass horns that they used in the early Godzilla movies.
