Honestly, I appreciate how casual you are with the delivery and also the absolute wealth of information you have. This game is so complex and at times I feel overwhelmed by what my objective should be at times.. as you have said, it's what is enjoyable and the journey hey! :)
That was really useful, Jake. 20 minutes made more sense than any other attempt at explaining PVP I’ve ever tried to get my head round. Looking forward to the rest of it!
Spot on about skills. Been playing game for years but only recently started trying pvp. went through the rigmarole of trying to craft sets to suit my playstyle but picking and using the skills properly has been the most challenging and most effective. taking this all on board. ty for the video
Hey about your ability to compete to pc content creators; you're the only one who does things like Market Watch video's and genuinely helps people make money by playing into what's currently happening in the game. I love that, and I'm sure it's a big part of the reason as to why you're growing so fast :)
Been playing the game since launch, but never tried PvP. Took a break after Update 35 once I came back I dove into PvP and fell in love with it. Looking forward to learn from this series.
Very useful information. And I like the length of the video , I look forward to the next one I have a lot to learn with pvp so these videos will help me a lot , and I appreciate all the hard work and effort you put in your videos it really shows in the great quality of your videos
A little explanation of Battlegrounds rules could be useful too. What's the Crazy King and how it's different from Chaos Ball or Capture the Relic etc.
Tip for those with terrible ping e.g. above 200 ms look at a onebar pvp build. Slow bar swapping kills you more than not having the variety of skills it brings. If you can reliably double bar it is better.
While I may have clothes older than you I guess I am just a "Silly Goose" for playing on PC. Course I do build my own so maybe that's why. You are rapidly becoming one of my top ESO choices as I find your video helpful without being dismissive of your audience.
Trying to learn, but I have a few chronic illnesses, and reaction time is sometimes great and sometimes awful. But I’m trying. I want to experience everything in the game!
Great video, sound advice for PVP beginners. I don't mind longer videos, for these sort of topics probably the 20 to 30 minute mark is the sweet spot (for comparison I regularly watch UA-cam videos of an hour to 3 hours long lol, though those tend to be true crime videos).
Already a veteran on PC EU. Hybrid Templar, cosplaing a clockwork Apostle. Gonna collect Mad Tinkerer, since there are golden rings out there. Just for fun.
I tried this out once with a friend, feel like I need to get burnt out on solo before I actually take the time to learn the PvP playstyle. Once Im out of missions (far from it) I'll give it another go. I've got the sets and mythic items used in PvP, I'm just not really into the mechanics and requirements. I'm sure I'll get there at some point though.
Another great video learned a lot I still think sorcs have better mobility over the vamps because you can clear jumps with it and the vamps just doesn’t seem good doesn’t work very well with hills in my testing and pc creators got nothing on you they think there fancy with all there addons telling them how to play 😂your amazing for console players you also put out better videos that help people learn not just use this build and you’ll be op because everyone plays different so your amazing for helping us learn how to make our own builds❤
@@Official_JakeClips your welcome keep up the great work also I forgot to mention that I think the length on the video was good I’ve watched it 3 times already 😅 and if you think a fourth video is needed for additional info make it and I’ll watch it when I see it love watching your videos
The fact this video has less than 5k views after a month of being released tells me PvP in ESO is not a popular feature. I remember playing (and quitting) this game less than a year after release. Haven't touched it since. And I was thinking of giving the game a try since I quit WoW this week. Sadly, it looks like macroing some skills is needed unless you are godly with how fast you can weave your abilities. I'm still on the fence.
@@Official_JakeClips Watched a few other videos showing how to spell cancel and weave..... the combat is definitely not for me. I don't mind action combat, but all this spell cancelling and weaving is the reason ESO never reached the heights of WoW or Final Fantasy. A lot of people really wanted to play the game, but the combat ruined our experience. I tried GW2. The combat was fine, but I really hated how much of the game focused on stupid mini games that made me feel like I was playing a Nintendo party game. I also tried BDO, but the endgame was too much of a grind and I don't want to spend months grinding just to compete. I wish ESO had combat like GW2 or BDO and I'd play it in a heartbeat. But for now.... Looks like I'll be sticking with WoW for the time being.
'Silly person" here - I can't help it if i grew up soldiering componente together to make the first home pc for my family. That said, why is there a distinction between console creators and pc creators? It's the same game isn't it? There's no idiocinricities that make the game different/better/worse on console - i doubt it. I'd like to actually see what goes on in battlegrounds......not just hear about skills and gear - though i'm sure you've got that considered.
The sustainability is gross I gotta say it’s crazy that somone 20 levels under me can just last and last and last never once going past centre health I just walked away and wayshrined out lol I get it I am a noob but seriously 😐 that’s just boring

Thanks for this vid, will finally cart my ass into PvP now 🎉

This was super helpful. I'm a long time player, but seldom do pvp. I'm looking forward to the gear and potion portion.
Been playing the game since launch, but never tried PvP. Took a break after Update 35 once I came back I dove into PvP and fell in love with it. Looking forward to learn from this series.
What do you usually do at end game if not pvp?
People do all sorts of different things like pve, housing, trading etc that’s the beauty of an mmo :)
Thank you for taking the time to make sure we are all “finished off”.
😉
"Finish them!" I'm sorry but I have a headache...

That was a good laugh, I was not expecting that comment about finishing off.
(Three parts seems good, then maybe a few addendums as things go along.)

Agree with all this, most important
just picked up eso again friends playing pvp feeling overwhelmed even tho these videos are 10 months old definitely habe helped man thanks!
Glad I could help!
Thanks so much for this video. Even though I've been playing ESO for a couple years I still manage to learn so much from your videos.
Great to hear!
I know I've only been here a week but I appreciate you & your community.
Welcome abroad!!!
Nice start to your pvp series. I'm going to lvl up my psijic order on my new character next.
Thank you so much for posting this. 😊

The Jakester, The Jakereno……making copies and chopping broccoli!!! Your vids entertain me more than SNL recently.
Not sure if that says more about me or SNL hahaha

I like your videos not just because I learn from them but your there to help you subscribers
❤️❤️
It's a good idea to start BG on your backbar and getting ready to receive damage.
Goated UA-camr

😂😭

Kinda miss the hundings rage days. Just felt like everyone died easily. This whole bruiser meta is beyond annoying but im down to learn and adapt.
Great information
Glad it was helpful!
Yo i just bought this game and looking into some videos, super excited I need a good mmo to drunk play
Fooking great game to drunk play
Welcome!!
You seem to be a person that actually likes the game and it shows
I do find it fun :) - especially after working all day 🤢
Could you do a video on pvp champion points too
Jake - I would recommend explaining why a normal PvE setup doesn't work in PvP.
Player HP vs monsters and players being smart to heal, ...
Great point for the set video in part 2 ❤️
Hadn’t really come back to this game since first year or so of the game. Your videos have really helped. Thank you.
Glad to help!

Where is the Major Sorcery buff on your magsorc build?
Usually in the potions - unless I switch to crit surge and then tri stat potions
@@Official_JakeClips hmm nice, I usually play this way
One bars can work in PvP. Two bar is a good bit better as long as you don't die because of slow bar swapping.

The part 2 has almost 9k - I think too people just need clarification on different parts of pvp :)

i am now more confused than I have ever been
Why :( - just think / something to heal me / something to make my mobile / something to execute people / something to spam

Oh more so I mean it like most creators who started on console go to pc so few remain on console (mainly due to add ons)
Now I know why I’m getting destroyed by so many sorc’s… 19k dmg 🤮 they’re watching this video!!!
