The keeper in yellow did not stay on his line throughout the penalty shootout🤣I’m from UK and your meant to stay on your line. Are the rules different in the US?
I noticed that to, from a goalkeeper in the US you have to have keep one foot on the line until they make contact which he didnt.
You are correct, however the other team's keeper was also coming off the goal line early, specifically on the save.
High school has slightly different language (ie obstruction instead of impedeading) and rules but the goalies are supposed to stay on the goal line until the ball is kicked. It just wasn't enforced

Every single one of the keeper saves in penalties should have been disallowed. Both keepers jumped way off their line in order to save those...full two feet before the ball was kicked.

Dude players have a 99% chance of scoring penalties the keepers can take a step after the ball is touched and that’s what most keepers do.

@@holmj12 the goalie in grey was only off the line once and it wasnt even that bad but the other goalie was off the line the whole penalty shoot out and he wasnt off by a little he was off the line by a lot so in my opinion the other team should’ve won and i think anyone else would agree

Rules summary:
If a goal is scored and the keeper when off the line early, the goal counts. [So it's meaningless that the green keeper went off the line when goals where scored]
If a save is made and the keeper is off the line early, then the kick must be retaken. [Notice that it doesn't say "if the keeper is off a line a little bit, then it's ok", the punishment is the same if it's a lot or a little]

during the penalty shootout, the green goalkeeper wasn't on the line when the the player was about to shoot. just pause it when the player is about to strike.
Correct, the other keeper was also off his line when he made the one save. All of the saves should have been retaken. The referees were being lenient for both keepers

@@wothzo there was one referee on the goal line, whose job is to watch the keeper and decide goal/no goal on close calls. However, the crew may have decided as a group to not strictly enforce that rule (or the referee on the goal line decided not to enforce it himself). Either way, both keepers were treated the same way thus a fair outcome was reached
At minute 7:18 when the pk was taken the keeper was way off his line. So were both of them while in the pk shootout. 🤔

Stole it by correctly disallowing two goal? Maybe mount should remember how a kick off or indirect free kick work. Maybe mount shouldn't have stopped a goal with their arm forcing the referee to give a red card and a penalty which lead to a goal anyway. The referee could have given more yellow cards to mount.
Mount conceded 2 goals, played with 10 players, could not find a 3rd goal and couldn't score enough penalties, that is why they lost the game, the referees stole nothing. The referees correctly enforced the rules.

I dont agree with you on the keeper saves. The gk in the green was no where near the line especially on the last save. The other keeper may have been off on one but appeared to have one foot on the line on the other.

Parents were incredibly annoying and Unsporting and would’ve liked to see white win but other than one blown PK these comments about the referee are ignorant. He was very liberal with his cards and kept the calls tight but it was a highly contested game clearly.

Unpopular opinion (fact) but the referees did a good job in this game
I don't know if the title of the video slanted people's view and/or people are ignorant, but both disallowed goals were correctly disallowed. The referees called the fouls "both ways" and gave cards to both teams (and imo should have given 2 more yellows to white).

The best team knew how kick offs and indirect free kicks worked (white didn't). The best team didn't concede a penalty, white took a red card to stop a goal just to concede a goal from the resulting penalty. The best team was more clinical with their penalties (white wasn't).

The rules are very clear, if a player stops an obvious goal scoring opportunity (the ball was going directly towards the net) with a hand or arm then player must receive a red card.

@@exooofortnite3435 the referees CORRECTLY disallowed 2 goals, kick off was illegal because the ref never blew the whistle. Indirect free kick, ball never touched a second person, therefore goal kick instead of goal. The no pen decisions were tight judgment calls but not clear and obvious errors from the camera angle
