Oh my god! I remember being there that night, can't believe i used to drive the 198 mile round trip there ever friday and am still here to tell the tale! Kinetic is where I did MY clubbing. In the 90s £1 for a can of lucozade was a fortune! But playing snooker with the old boys with my impaired vision (!) Those were the days alright!!!
We went every fri in 94 some of 95...My missus even got engaged there at fibre optic 3/3/95...Connie gave us a wicked shout on the grooverider set...Smig n lou...lol HAPPY HAPPY DAYS...we travelled from Mansfield every week..before the new road was there...I was there when this was recorded...Had the tape in mi car...my missus is on part 4/4...black cat suit,denim dress over the top...Young un nowadays dont know there born...Brisk was hard man....LIVE LOVE DANCE....
Christ I loved this club!!! Best years of my life. Techno nights were fucking fantastic!!! 93-95 were best! Bunch of us used to travel up from South Wales. Brilliant times!! 👍👍👍👍

Outdoor during the night amd usually has a couple stages for classic hardcore. Still wicked over there. Raves all the fucking time. Thunderdome this December has a Thundergods stave with the likes of the darkraver,Ruffneck, Dano etc all spinning

@domothemetalgod The floor most definitely wasn't designed to bounce. The Leisure Bowl was, I believe, originally a cabaret/live music venue with a rather more sedate pace. The unique bouncy floor was a result of the wide spans between the pillars in the bus station below, which were necessary to move the buses around.
If you dropped in the car then the booming and shaking of the walls as you queued always brought you right up. Had another room that played acid house and snooker tables?!?
Back when hardcore was hardcore. Unfortun8ly its a wilkinsons now have gone back a few times, regular 4 3yrs!! Never been 2 anything else like it since, what an awesome club/night it was!! I miss it so much!! Now its gone! Dam scousers!!

@clubkineticuk i was there every friday without fail and used to travel 30mile out my way to pick up some scousers, They where a great laugh everybody in the club was friendly... Infact the carpark taxers where all local stoke lads..and to be fair it woud`nt of been the same without any of them...Would give all to go back 15-20 years :) Qaulity club...Qaulity Dj`s Never forgotten

Nothing else mattered...now, when u go out 'clubbing/raving' (and i still do every couple of months even @36 years old; but not to this music any more i should add) There are 2 major problems that never used to exist...1] too many people on legal drugs, and 2) every male in the club seams to think he can pull any female in touching distance. I now spend all night watching my girls back in stead of relaxing & dancing - how it used 2 be ;)
saw ultrasonic at kinetic, not sure what year tho, maybe 95. they were recording a cd that night, it was fuckin rockin. used to have all these tunes but they seem so fast now. its a young mans game that hardcore stuff!

Just listened to the set abit more and tune he plays at 5:48 on here (after total brainwash) is the tune he mixes into Marusha, so reckon can't be the same set but certainly this set was mixed around the same time so maybe a week or two before or after. Anyone help????
