celeste's communication skills during closed door interview and her advocacy.. failed.. it was my prediction even right after she won miss universe philippines that she might not enter to the top 16 and so, i was right.. and everyone surprised why Laos and Canada made it, it is because they excelled during prelim, and got a high score in closed door interview and their advocacies..
Too far and too much invested, fabricated sensationalism of Celeste pre MU event,..but a lot knew it all , that her side by side with R’Bonney, that was quite of a micro joke in multiple angles…her portrayal of over confidence even behind the scenes choked so many -- hello !!!
I love how they applauded even though they didn’t like the candidate 😅
But did you hear how one of them screamed the 'F' word when the 16th contestant was announced 🤣🤣....their support for Miss Philippines is priceless, loved it. 😘
Just because they're Filipino doesn't mean they hated or disliked other candidates. It's showing admiration for them, NOT ALL of us are raging nationalists that brings down other countries when ours dosen't get chosen.

In 2019 the whole country was rooting for Gazini like crazy, but when Miss SA won, most of the nice comments and appreciation for the winner were coming from them.

Her team relied too much on sash factor and she was unaccessible and holding back, in prelims she got lost in the group and performed better in her national. I don't know if it was strategy, but it doesn't work like that in Miss Universe... you need to compete every day like it's finals.

Celeste's performance in the prelims was so weak. She is lacking in some aspects. She doesn't have that accomplishments yet like the ladies in the top 16 does, they really are transformational women and leaders and it is proven already in their communities through actions, the walk the talk of their advocacies.
The communication skills, performance, advocacies, community involvements, and vision really matters. These are the big factors of being a transformational leader. These are the qualities that Miss Universe is looking for as an ambassador to their org.
But we are thankful for Celeste for her hardwork and dedication. We are proud of you Celeste no matter what.😍
For R'Bonney, the moment she answered the top 5 Q & A, then I said... "this is it! She will easily snatch the crown! That sincerity in her answer, she wasn't there to play, she is very serious in her goal. Her life story and what she did and still doing for the communities, amazing!

It’s actually 12 years of placement streak, not 13 (2010-2021).
Blame vloggers too for oversaturating and over hyping celeste ignoring her flaws and possibilities, they sell celeste to pinoys like miss ph has no other competitors. These vloggers were sierra bearchell, pageant nerd, brian javier, titasphfigvinias, rj ignorancio, adam robloxano, alvin shupatero, luis fhotalles and almost all emglish speaking pageant vloggers.
@@Agent-ie3uv Davonna the Sovereign flat out predicted USA or Curaçao with USA having the edge. She rightfully called out on Celeste’s lackluster performance. Too many vloggers relied on Filipino fans for views and subscribers so they just smooch their butts. Every contestant after Catriona had it to win. Four years in a row with eggs on their faces they still won’t learn.

I woke up at 3 am to watch the Miss Universe 2022 contest. I was really confident that Miss Phillipines would make it to the top 16. My fears kept on increasing gradually everytime the top 16 was being announced. It was real suspense. I had a very morose day when Phillipines didn't make it. It was a huge shock. I'm really happy with Miss USA's win.
Anyways, there is always next year. A country that went unplaced doesn't decrease its powerhouse strength!
I hope the MUP org will take this as a lesson and move forward towards choosing the ideal candidate that align with what the new management of MU is looking for.
I also woke up early to watch Miss Universe.
I already assumed that Divita can't make it to the semifinals.
But, I was super happy after results.
Also R'Bonney giving Lara Dutta vibes.
For me, it was worth it
Btw, tbh Miss Makati, Michelle Dee deserved to be crowned Miss Universe Philippines.
She's doing a great job working with children fighting against autism.

All hype with Celeste unlike with Pia and Catriona who had the drive-hunger-determination-RESPONSIBILITY to win but still with humility-elegance-poise. Celeste was just all angelic face and smile, and "authenticity authenticity" whereas Pia had her smize and darna pose in swim, and Catriona had her lava walk in swim prelims. And speaking of Prelims, talk about a HUGE MISTAKE for Celeste with a washed-out gown just because her father looks at the sky. Celeste was just about authenticity and transformation but Pia and Catriona were LEADERS because they made sure that they were there to COMPETE and to win (and beat their respective top rivals which they properly identified early on). Celeste and MUPH probably didn't even think of R'bonney as a VERY STRONG COMPETITOR. But then again, R'bonney had been working in her advocacy for 13 years. 13!!!! And Celeste's advocacy? Miss Thailand's story could've been powerful but her English skills is poor so she can't "sell" the work of MUO internationally. The Top 3 had very solid TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP experiences-backgrounds.
True. We can tell that Miss Universe Philippines 2022 this year is quite not shine or show strong self leadership like every other Miss Universe Philippines in the past. She has the look and walks, but her personality doesn't hype or interesting much.

A lot of people think Celeste didn’t make finals because her prelims performance, but it’s very clear that she was lacking in purpose and advocacy, or at least a true passion for her advocacy. Yeah, she was partnered with Save The Children, but she rarely mentioned it during her interviews, only talking about “challenging the idea that beauty queens always have to be perfect.” With MU winners, you can always see they have a purpose to serve others, such as Pia with HIV awareness and Catriona with education for children. But with Celeste? Always just talking about being authentic
We should take this as a BIG LESSON: 1) Yes, there is the person who is Celeste -- the one who had experience at Miss Earth and at MUPH, but then 2) the responsibility of ensuring the MOST WINNING CANDIDATE rests on MUPH and also the Filipinos. Why? Because a) the franchise owner -- and the main body RESPONSIBLE for selecting the best [driven-hungry-responsible-purposeful to WIN] candidate is Miss Universe Philippines. b) Filipinos are also responsible because they didn't learn the lesson that Catriona and Pia taught -- that hardwork, grit, hunger, determination is key, but Filipinos CONTINUED to think that a Maria Clara, angelic-celestial face, elegance, beautiful-gorgeous body IS ALL that matters. Yes, Celeste has a good (better) grasp of English and can communicate AUTHENTICALLY, meaning from her heart. But, and here's why Catriona Gray is THE 21st century Miss Universe STANDARD, if you don't have a SOLID GROUNDING on your PURPOSE and ADVOCACY, no matter how authentic and sincere you communicate, even if you communicate from the heart, you can't "sell" the work of MUO if you don't have a STRONG PURPOSE-DRIVEN mindset and work ethic. It's a JOB!!!!!! Pia said this in her final answer, and she took it upon herself to BRING BACK the crown to the Philippines (after 40+ years) so it was VERY clear to her that she has a RESPONSIBILITY. We shouldn't hate on Celeste because we can be compassionate that this is where she is in her journey -- she is authentic and there's NOTHING wrong with being authentic, but that authenticity is NOT ENOUGH to show-demonstrate RESPONSIBILITY. She was just authentic but she's not a leader. But this responsibility of sending the BEST candidate to MU rests FULLY on Miss Universe Philippines -- they need to change their strategy because "sweeteepie, angelic-celestial, Maria Clara sexy body beauty but WITHOUT a strong purpose-driven, and solid LEADERSHIP experience" is NO LONGER ENOUGH. Filipinos should stop believing that the Philippines can win with just a) a beautiful-gorgeous candidate who can speak good-enough English, and b) then go online, bash other candidates (to protect the Filipina candidate) and c) scream at the venue as if there's no tomorrow. Wake up!! IT'S A TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAME NOW, especially with the new management and vision of the Miss Universe Organization. ALL HYPE without solid leadership experience is NO LONGER ENOUGH. R'bonney has been doing her advocacy for 13 YEARS!!!! 13!!!!!!!!

Guys stopped....we know before what is her weakness and why we need her to represent our country. It is our fault to mislead her and let her join miss universe. It is our lesson learn that we should be transparent and tell the truth for what is bad and good for her. Filipino should stop giving plausable comments and good comments about her. We should give her bad comments to improve and make it a constructive criticism.
