You can read pther players intentions fairly well after a while and by constantly sprinting around them and throwing decoy nades etc and being super aggressive you can catch them off guard. Only really works in areas you can easily rotate around though. I like to mix it up but definitely lean more towards the tactical side. Games like this are all about information gathering and sound play. Typically the person who makes the least amount of noise is the one who wins
I believe scar is one of the best if not the best AR in arena breakout. I’ve had a level 4/5 kit alive for 5 days so far with one. My reasoning for this is that the scar has a low enough fire rate where you can keep it on full auto 24/7 and use it as single fire for far away shots, but the second a guy pulls up on you no need to switch fire rate, ur already in full auto and then it’s so controlled you can wipe multiple people with just a 30 round mag full auto bc they can’t see anything and you’ll be able to get the cleanest shots. I mainly play it on farm and it’s good in every single out door engagement distance. I don’t use it indoors really so it may have some downsides there for cqc.
I agree with your normal v lockdown arguments, but I find Lockdown is the "base" game if you want to get out with good gear, good ammo and potentially more reds and golds. That being said, I still use my keys in Normal, because as it stands, I've found more reds in normal safes than Lockdown ones.

I've ran lockdown twice 1.5 mil red first time only 50k extraction second time. got killed two other times. everything else has been normal so I just need to figure out what to do to keep the money going up and run cheaper budget runs in Normal

I got stuck on grain trading center after my 3 teamates died I stuck around to chad and maybe profit killed 2 but loot sucked. Nowadays. It's safer to play solo for me. I always end up dead because those randoms that rush in. At least in solo, I can play tactical most of the time.
I thought it was just me. When I run solo I usually make it out with something on normal but I still dying. When I run teams there's a good chance I'm going to die and then they die and I have to split off and do my solo run anyway
The only thing really holding back this gun is the RPM. Oh! Not to mention, 5.56 ammo is excruciatingly expensive tier for tier. 💀 It could be built for a DMR role but i think there are other guns better suited for that role too!
How expensive are both the 1-6x scopes? I feel like it’d almost be better off using that than the HAMR bc switching to the 1x on that blocks like half your screen

You can play fast/agressive and play smart too. Slow walking around all methodically most of the match isnt the only way to play "smart". I push virtually every fight. Its all about positioning and knowing when to peak/push. Also, using keys in normal is kind of a waste. But if youre not playing lockdown or forbidden then it makes sense why youd use keys in normal. Just in my personal experience ive gotten way more golds and reds in forbidden locked doors than anywhere else.

I got more gold items in normal from opening basic jackets and bags than the safes I opened in lockdown.

Yes, in lockdown I play a bit slower and tactical.. I calculate my moves first but normal is just me running naked or with shit gear
