- Tana Mongea calls out Morphe Cosmetics!
It seems like Tana Mongeau might be a little upset with Morphe after she made a tiktok asking them to bring back "Makeup Talk" lip liner their PR team flew out to her to bring her a box of lip liners. After that Tana and Brooke Schofield were left confused if that's all they flew out for, because Morphe didn't offer them a check or any other compensation. Morphe loaded 500 lip liners to the site and they sold out in 3 minutes. Tana mongeau made Morphe a pretty chunk of change and she was left without any competition besides some lip liners... Do yall feel morphe owes her a check???

On principle yes the brand owes you. Legally speaking they do not because there is no contract between the creator and the company
I work in marketing and with influencers 🙋🏻♀️ the brand doesn’t owe you anything. If you expected compensation you should’ve signed a contract. If the brand was smart tho they should collab with the influencer and develop a partnership especially with someone as big as Tana

If anything it is THEIR LOSS. If they released it with Tana's name on the box and made it a collar I would've bought it. Since they didn't, I won't.
The question is a little different from the Tana situation considering they reached out to her to promote the product and she does imply at least in other podcast clips that there was a collab deal as a part of it, but I feel like they at least owe you a stipend and PR at least l

@@Skelotim it’s purposeful marketing, it makes it look like the brands are going out of business weather they are or aren’t but it gets people to buy there products more so they feel like there saving a business. But I still feel like a Stipend equivalent to what someone paid for the product and being added to the PR list is what they should do at least

Tana’s manager should propositioned morphe for the collab but honestly in this situation Tana is the reason they brought it back and it sold out instantly so they need to cut her a check
Tana didn’t do just one video! It was multiple occasions she promoted the liner!! And just wanted for them to bring it back. Morphy took advantage of it and made more product due to her promotion. So yes she definitely deserves compensation for it not just lifetime supply it.
True but morphe never asked her to do that. She was giving them free promotion and so it's her fault she never got a check for it.

In my opinion, she’s giving entitled. Morphe doesn’t owe her anything for her begging them to bring back that lip liner shade. They did her one better by gifting her a ton of them. I get that she mentioned they could do a collab, but they didn’t actually have to bring the product back just because she was demanding it. She’s lucky they did what they did & she should be grateful they even did that. They owed her nothing. 🥴

I feel like her reward was to get the whole package that they gave her for free and adding them to the website for her fans to also have the opportunity to get themselves.
