Me too! When my dad died I used to call her every morning to make sure she was okay. Drove her insane - in a good way! One day she didn’t answer I was panicking and drove to her house - she was fine, just outside 😂 Thank goodness my brother lives with her now so I can stop worrying.

The screws holding the door latch and hinges are only 1/2 inch long and only penetrate the door frame which is held in place by tine nails a child could kick your door in. Replace them with 3 inch screws that penetrate the 2x4's framing of the house they also make upgraded door latches that have more than 2 screws to hold them in place.

I have been told by one of my adult children that just expressing that I care is “intrusive” so I don’t even call them anymore.

Let's skip to the end, the Judges husband is a lawyer and a judge on national TV saying hourly employees need to answer calls and texts when they're off. I'll be damned, I worked for a cellular company and all of us employees got together and told management not to call or text us when we were off, in fact Verizon was sued and had to pay employees for this very reason, underpaying employees, my of time is EXACTLY that, off time and if you're a lawyer and don't know that you need to be disbarred. Corporations see you as a number, you mean nothing to them, just a source of revenue, don't sacrifice your life for them.

I kept telling them to not call me when I was off, I was salary plus, meaning I got overtime, management would prevent employees from inputting time for contacting us when we were off. I hadn't worked for Verizon since 2012 and got a paycheck in 2016 for the overtime they owed me, so he is dead wrong.

Been doing out forever. If there is no response or signs of life. They will try to get in. Sadly there are several times they have found people dead inside
They do it especially if you're sick. I have epilepsy and was inpatient one time and didn't call my parents or coworkers because I was out of it and didn't have my phone the hospital did. My parents and coworkers called everyone since I hadn't reported to work. If it wasn't for my neighbor telling the cops to stop hitting my door and I was in the hospital they were going to kick my door in

Well when they're brought out to do a wellness check specifically, they will typically try to do anything possible to make possible contact with the suspected missing person, including kicking down a door if there are no signs of life. Unfortunately people often pass away in their apartments and aren't found until a wellness check is done, or some people may even just be injured with no way of getting help, so that's why.

The parents are the ones with establish relationships with their children. There must have been something in his upbringing to where he does not have a bond with his mother. I’m sure their fractured relationship goes back to his teen years.
It may not be malicious, but calling the police to carry out a welfare check on any black man usually ends up with somebody dead. If ringing his last known phone number doesn't work, call your entire contact list to find out his new number or, as they knew his address, why not get send over a local acquaintance or adult protective services.

From my observations and opinion, it seems that his mother might be struggling to accept his sexual orientation, which has likely led to feelings of anger on his part and possibly shame on hers. While it's clear she cares about him because this is her son, her discomfort with his orientation and partnership is evident. I believe therapy could be beneficial for them both, providing a space to heal and learn to respect each other as mother and son.
I think she's ok with his lifestyle... hence her giving him money... he's selfish and a con artist.... 2x he put money in the mail for 2 different people... and BOTH times no one received it.... WHO PUTS MONEY IN THE MAIL?🤔😂
To the “hourly employee” question. I am NOT required to answer my phone for an employer after hours, unless I’m being paid, says the damn union!
Now, bosses have to answer the phone to to their boss, as they are given company phones to be reached.
