Mark's finger style is definitely not called Chicken Picking (the act of intentionally muting notes in between non muted notes etc etc).
Mark's Fingerstyle is usually classified as Clawhammer but IMHO Mark's style is his own.
Yes, absolutely. He can definitely do some cool chicken picking. You can hear it in some of his studio and live recordings. But not really in Sultans on the album….maybe in a live Sultans solo…MK style is MK,s style…that’s one of reasons why his sound is so distinctive and he plays to suit his songs.
