Wow this is such a cool idea, I might do something similar! I hope it works for you and you find some new favorites! Also Im so exited to watch all the videos and see your progress! Good luck! 🍀
On New Year's Eve, 1999, I decided I was going to read through the Modern Library's list of the 100 Best Novels in the year 2000, going from from #100 (The Magnificent Ambersons...great book!) to #1 (Ulysses). Here we are, 20 years later, and I'm still working my way through that list! Ahh, past me had such big goals! :) I'm down to #64 now...I think at some point I had to let go of the pressure of the list, and allow myself to read other things as I felt I wanted to...but I've been plugging along all this time, and I end up reading a few books a year from that list, and it's been good. That said, I like your idea of having some structure or a goal, and it's inspired me to pick my next read from my 100 and keep on going toward my goal, too. Who knows, maybe I'll add your list to mine and make it 200...but I'm not sure I'll live that long. ;) Best of luck to you, no matter what, it's sure to be a wonderful journey with some excellent reads! Love the idea of keeping the log too.
Ah thank you, what a lovely message! Yeah, I'm already wondering if I've bitten off more than I can chew haha! And... i've found more lists. Top 10 Gothic classics. Top 10 21st Century Children's lit. And so on. So yeah.. I shall be dipping in and out of the list as you alluded to! In any case - it'll definitely help me have a ready-to-go tried-and-tested classic on hand at any one time should the modern lit not really be doing it for me. Thanks for watching and commenting. Hi such a great plan 👍 You reading log is from amazon, I have just ordered myself one 😊 and I will definitely be looking into reading Goodnight Mr Tom Good luck with it, I really hope you enjoy it. I’ll be following along 😁
I have a scratch off poster that’s a 100 best books bucket list (I don’t know who complied it) and there are some similarities to this list. I had so much trouble deciding what to read next, fearing that I would read the ones I thought I would like first so I’ve gone for alphabetical order by author only because I couldn’t think of any other way!
Ah, love this idea! Good luck on your goal, it's such a mixed bag so it'll be really interesting.

Good reading!
So how did you go?Have you completed the list and if so what is your synopsis video entitled? What did you think of the Magus by Fowles,my favourite.

This is a cool idea, but also good luck :D
If I counted correctly I only read 10 of these. A lot of the books on the list are on my tbr though!!
Life is too short. If I hate a book, I do not finish, without apology or regret!
