- So i was checking EpicHaxGuy's channel and i've saw what he did for Built to Scale 2 for Rhythm Heaven Silver for GBA.
He said:

For a more accurate testing, i've wanted to semi-TAS the minigame but with the extra of "Go for a Perfect!" and he was right, not only you can get to an OK but also there's no way to get a Perfect.

The reason TAS got an OK is because the game's jealous of how good he does
EpixHaxGuy made the game intentionally impossible to get a superb and give the highest rating an Ok.

What exactly prevents the input from registering as a perfect input?

probably cause there's no real end platform for those parts, end platforms seem to need to go offscreen to register
@@glennianheroes1383 yeah, he loses perfect at 0:25-0:26, right when the rod on the right goes off-screen on an unraised block. Maybe making it land on a raised one and exit that way would make perfect achieveable?
So the + blocks on the right side mean nothing? You still hit A...?
I think they are just to mess with you, as well as that they make a different sound when they come up
bugs me that sometimes it's completely out of tune
