- One of the most difficult rhythm games in the series just got even worse!
Behold, my latest and not-so-greatest creation... Polyrhythm Hell!
This is a mod that gives Polyrhythm 2 existing patterns, including some Remix 4 patterns, plus new patterns made from scratch. The tempo starts at a faster speed than OG Poly2, but starts to fluctuate about halfway in!
As a bonus, I believe I unintentionally made the highest rating you can get in this game an OK. You're welcome.
Oh and did you notice this game is shorter than GBA Remix 6 only by about 30 seconds?

The fact that some of the + blocks are on the "Press A" lane makes me irrationally angry

I’m pretty sure that the pluses appeared on the A lane when there weren’t any on the plus lane so pretty good indicator of when there’s no pluses, but I could be wrong about that

I like how at the start there’s actual effort but later the blocks are like “naw screw it”

I'm a professional musician and honestly reading these rhythms in notation would be 1000% easier than whatever this cursed form is
I like how it starts as a potential threequel, but then it becomes the Wii Built to Scale.
Then it becomes literally impossible to perfect.

yeah polyrhythm does that in rhythm heaven silver and idk why.

@@beanybabysnail8576 well rhythm heaven silver (the fan translation for tengoku) just has different names for some games, esp before megamix came out. even now marching orders is marcher and tap trial 2 is turbo tap trial. (personally i prefer the silver names for most games other than sick beats) polyrhythm doesn't have an official english name obv, and it's basically just a built to scale game (given that there's widgets and all), so it's called built to scale.
@@ashlynnnorton7818 The game uses two sprites for the opening. One lying down and one standing up. The only one changed in the mod is the lying down one.

Honestly some of the rhythms in this are great. I really wish there was some kind of ultimate polyrhythm that played with really advanced offbeats or tempo changes

I don’t play rhythm heaven so I thought this would be a level filled with actually hellish polyrhythms like 5:7 or 11:13
I feel like if the track was longer and the poly rhythms actually made some sense it would make a great endless game.
Then when you reach 200 successful rounds it just devolves into being insanely fast with nonsense poly rhythms

Kinda frustrating this game is called "polyrhythm" when it's pretty much just syncopations - there's /maybe/ a 2:3 polyrhythm at one point, but it sounds like mostly tresillos... which don't really count. Seems like a fun game though!
As someone who has been stuck on Polyrhythm 2 in Tengoku for the longest time, this video physically hurt me. Thank you!

Like there’s was a vibe of trying to get a 3 tempo over 4 tempo but it’s all 1/8th here so it’s not that’s polyrhythmic but still nice

I have this thing with my eyes that when I look at diagonal lines, they go misaligned. Like being crosseyed, but the left eye just kinda... drifts off. I literally couldn't try to play this game with both eyes open unless I tilted my head to one side.
This made me realize Polyrhythm has clown music

I actually used this as a way to learn polyrhythms better. I can now tap triplets with my left hand and quarter notes with my right at the same time without getting tripped up. Thanks dude!

Most of other Rhythm Hell games are just unplayably sped up. This one, on the other hand, should be a good game which lots of people would want to play.

I'd rather play Remix 10 then this since at least 10 is on beat but this isn't 😭 I'd go insane trying to play this because the notes don't match the rhythm in some sections
