Hey everyone! I hope you’re having a great day! Took my dad and grandpa out for a morning of fishing. It sure was tough but we had a lot of fun!

Good times. My routine is to sneak out the hotel room while the wife & kids are sleeping and catch the awesome sunrise at Point Cadet. I kind of work the walkway between the bridge and Gorenflo's tackle shop. Any way to cut down on the little fish? I know nothing of the fish habitat there but I was thinking about trying a bobber and having the bait a 1'-2' below - and I'm guessing about 2'-3' above the bottom, foregoing any chance of a flounder I suppose but cutting down on those pesky little croakers & cats. This idea came from seeing some of what you call 'big nasties' jumping on the surface in the mornings (after sunrise) there behind TBT. Thoughts?
The croaker and catfish will always come say hi lol have you tried using artificial baits?

I sold a person a set of front fenders for a 48 dodge car to a man in California. It cost $700 + for shipping. He paid it . But the fenders were damaged when they arrived. I refund what I was paid. Maybe you can give away gift cards to the tackle store. Maybe whoever wins can spend some more money on Mississippi Gulf Coast!
