  • We took ownership of our 895 Sport in Ft. Lauderdale. We and some other friends had planned a 3-boat trip to Bimini for a week. However the sea conditions were terrible so we decided to stick to the ICW. 1 of the 3 boats had some last minute troubles so they met us via vehicle in Marathon Florida.

I wish our fuel was that cheap! We're at $8.89 a gallon!
    Awesome boat though

How does it do in choppy water and what water conditions would you say is the limit to this boat

I would say that the boat can handle more than passengers could lol. We were stuck in 3-4' head sea, 5 sec intervals and we were only able to handle running around 15mph. Our course eventually changed to a following sea. We were able to run up closer to 18-22mph. I have great confidence the boat could handle some nasty conditions.

Lopez we took our time leaving Ft. Lauderdale stopping several locations along the way to Marathon. On our return trip North (Marathon to Ft. Lauderdale) Id say it was about 4-5 leisurely hours

@@DustinStubbs Do you have to pull permits and how bad of a tow is it with your F-250 going that long distance?

@@lopezlopez7775 yes a $10 permit is needed since it is over 8.5 feet wide and under 12. F250d pulls it with ease now that we have the boat properly positioned on the trailer.
