Sitting in my home office watching this, knowing that we are getting our 895 (Vitamin Sea Deux) in four days!!! She is at the marina just getting the last few things done on her bottom paint coat, etc. We can't wait! This video came out at the perfect time to help me have patience.
Hi Guys, great review on the 895. I recently purchased one, I was wondering what modification did you do to allow the captains chair to spin? Thanks Steve
Great run through. There are only two of us and we are enjoying our new 795 with a lot of options although we passed on the day beds. Have the full campers which keeps out the native water rats and keep the cockpit dry and clean. Don’t know why the new owners of the 895 have gone for old fashioned trim tabs after spending all that money. Our Zipwakes are great.
Great Video Damien and Brooke. That looks like a huge generator but guess AC is a big plus in your great Australian summers. In the U.K. AC is not required ( except on the rare occasions we get a heatwave). Still only 10 degree here and it almost May. Agree with your previous commentator, absolutely crazy not to have the upgrade to Zipwakes rather that Trim Tabs. They make a big difference in a seaway. Did Northside use Shiny Stainless ( your guys) for the tender rack? The helmsman’s seat is the 1095 seat upgrade ( Jeanneau, as far as I know) are still fitting the smaller seat as standard on 895’s. The bigger seat is great for longer passages. Perhaps a possible upgrade for you two? I note that Jeanneau are still not fitting a FW tank gauge, goodness knows why not? Thanks again for another great video Jeanneau and Northside should be paying you a commission !! Actually used my 895 yesterday for the first time in 2023! Really envy you your great Queensland boating weather!
Thanks John. So glad your boat in the water for the season. Yes we are lucky here! I have no idea why they didn't go zipwakes. Maybe they will stay on relatively calm water?? Yes the tender rack and steel work is from Shine Stainless. You've picked the captain seat! I think that would be a great upgrade. The extra bolster was very comfortable. Keep complaining about the FW guage maybe we can make that happen. Happy boating
Thanks for all your great videos! We're about to buy an 895. We are based in Poole in England with 2 bridges between us and the open sea. Please can you tell me the air draft on the 895? Many thanks Paul
Hi Paul, congrats on your (almost) purchase. Our air draft is 2.6m (by our best estimate). We have a bridge 2.3 HAT so we are always aware of the tide, especially if there has been rain. Happy to chat more if you have questions.
another nice video. I have a 2022 895 here in the states. I need to find a source for that aft fishing rail set up and the bow ladder. I don't believe these are Jeanneau options up here.
Love your choice of boat🛥️😎. The bow ladder is a Jeanneau factory addition, your dealer should be able to help. All the steel work on the stern is custom fabrication. The company is Shine Stainless Fabrication, they can ship internationally. Happy boating.
Great video as usual. Such a great boat. One quick question: is there an online Jeanneau shop (to buy curtains, parts etc) offering worldwide delivery? Keep up your fantastic videos! They are all highly appreciated and interesting.
What size is the tubing of the tender rack 3/4" or 1". We trailer our NC 895 on a 12,000 lb trailer and tow it with Nissan Titan HD 4x4 tows easy with this set up, in South Florida USA.
It is 1". If you want more info about the rack check out - ua-cam.com/video/VaW5D3LUFNI/v-deo.html You can order it from Shine Stainless here on the Gold Coast and send to the US.
People do trailer the 895 especially in the US but it is a big boat to trailer. When mine came out for service it was almost 5T plus a beam of 3M. You would need to know the laws, your car's and your limits.
The ram 2500 can tow 8000kg in Australia, you will need an lr licence to drive it though. Also 3m beam is an easy permit, $50 a year, display 4 flags and a flashing beacon and can't tow at night or on freeways
So regarding the sliding rear seat.. if your pulled stern in to a beach, you'll bend the engines up, so you can't use the seat..?? Seems a pretty average design.. Unless the engine come up sufficiently without having to move the seat I this situation 🤔
If you came stern to on a beach, you'd need to move the seat forward and then trim the engines up. You can still use the bench seat in this configuration, there is a separate pole point for the table to use when the seat is pulled forward. You just loss some space around the table and cockpit. I find the design great, it allows for a large cockpit most of the time when out on the boat with the engines down.

Also, side note. SUPER cute dress~
Four days, how exciting!! Where are you based? Have you got your first voyage planned. Welcome to the Merry Fisher family!
You guys did an amazing job showing this boat.
Thanks so much, let me know if there is a boat you want us to try and get on!

I don't think so, best idea is to reach out to the dealer near you. Would be a good idea.
Do Janeau now offer a tender rack as an after sales option?
No they don't.
Série 1 😮
895 série 2 !! ❤
Can't wait to see the series 2. Review to come as soon as possible.

Can you tell me the price of boat thanks
Just under $400k AUD
With the correct permit and vehicle are you sure you cant trailer it
