No, it's more than that. They're trying to provoke an interaction where they can get you to say just enough that they can fill out a form that says they are "concerned that you pose a risk to your own safety or the safety of others" (or similar wording) that they can forcibly hold you for psychiatric assessment. If police want to abuse you, and they can't figure out a criminal charge, they'll misuse mental health legislation to fuck with you. Because mental health legislation is usually a lot looser in the burden of evidence placed on police, and as long as they stand by their statement that they were "concerned for your safety" it's very hard to prove otherwise.
Best thing is that 200,000 people have seen her disregard for legitimate mental health issues and just attempt to abuse a power in order to control/arrest a member of the public.

I agree with everything that you have stated. The behaviour was awful. On the other hand, some of the Officers who appear on AB's channel have been lovely.
@@UKImmigrationLawGeek I believe its a ratio issue. I agree, that there can be some nice Officers but unfortunately there appears to be a higher ratio of Officers who are unfamiliar with the law and restricting someone's rights. Most of the times the Officers do not need to engage as no law has been broken.
The police don't like you filming police stations, they don't like you filming in public areas, and most of all they don't like it when you don't do what they tell you. They always want the last word, to try and show who's the boss, their ego!
It will be the new way they cart people away with no grounds. The law has changed to say that only a single doctor is needed to determine whether someone is mentally stable, and the police can use it as a way to hold people until they are sectioned. The police don't care if he is mentally fit or not, they will use the new laws to win an argument.
They already have mental health nurses working inside police stations- my sister is one. They are definitely using mental health as an excuse to apprehend when they have no other lawful basis.
They can't stand the idea of being scrutinised by anyone. In fact, they take exception to the idea that people in a public place are well within their right to observe the police whilst they do their job. Their, 'comfort', is largely irrelevant as they're acting as police, first and foremost. And, it's not as though you're going out of your way, specifically, to record them. If they don't like it, they're perfectly free to walk away or do whatever they consider necessary to obfuscate themselves from the view of the camera. It's not as though you're deliberately sticking the camera in their faces, or anything. It beats me why there's this attitude that everyone else has to conform to fit them and their feelings, when in a responsible adult world of doing things, people take it upon themselves to remedy that which they deem to be not as they would like it. The idea that you have to curtail your freedoms in order to make other people, 'feel comfortable', seems to be the general consensus of how we're supposed to behave now. We have to, 'be nice', to people at the expense of our own activities. Even more so when those activities aren't directly infringing on their rights. It's merely the, 'idea', that someone can do something that they're not 100% compliant with, that seems to irk them. Tolerance of other people seems to be a non-starter for some. They expect everything 100% the way they want it. I do believe that was a veiled insult there, when they have the audacity to ask you if you have any mental health problems because you were acting, (in their opinion), 'bizarre.' When, in reality, the act of holding a camera in order to document what is essentially, 'public life', as it goes by, is a perfectly natural thing to want to do. However, the degree of cynicism of anyone who is recording such activity has been elevated over a number of years due in large to the heightened awareness, (re: paranoia), regarding those who act in a nefarious manner, to the point now where it's automatically assumed that anyone who is acting, 'out of the ordinary', is deemed to be, 'up to something', and seen as guilty without any actual reason or suspect behaviour on their part. A sad indictment on modern society. Why are those 2, (whatever they are), riding bicycles in what it obviously a pedestrianised area? I'm sure if a member of the public were to be riding their bike, they'd get fined. One rule for them and one for everyone else, it seems.

I think soon you, AB, will have crowds of hundreds supporting you and have the public educating, you won't need to say a word. What a great thing to happen, shows your work is valid. If I came across you I'd shake your hand and film.🤳
She's more concerned you might record them doing something they're not supposed to do.
As is always the case with those in any kind of authority who take exception to the presence of a camera.

This cop needs massive stress support because she's clearly stressed out by lawful behaviour
The way she goes on about it shows she clearly is not suited to being a cop
Police in the UK seem really concerned with legal activities that make them uncomfortable
That’s because the legal activities = £ incentive
Maybe AB should audit police in his country Romania, where bribing police will get you freedom.

Extremely dangerous. They escalated a situation. The woman member of the public who stated that people should walk away if they do not want to be filmed is correct. I am astounded at the lack of knowledge of these officers. It is disgraceful. How many people film in public on any given day?
Man AB your nerves are made of steel. How you are able to keep your composure when being attacked with silliness from so many angles is just impressive.

When other members of the public have a better understanding of the law and common sense, you know there’s some serious problems with the police.
It’s a mockery. If I ever need help the police would be the last people I would call
Good call, worryingly though, she's carrying a taser....
She made some serious allegations against you in an effort to esculate the situation. This demonstrates to me that she doesn't have the mental capacity or knowledge to be a police officer. I found her behavior very alarming and worrying.

Most female cops don't know when to shut the hell up. Males like that were most likely brought up in households dominated by women.

😂😂
It's surprising they get uniform without even knowing basics.
A police officer asking if u have mental health issues is just a passive aggressive way to verbally abuse you 😂
No, it's more than that.
He stripped her down bit by bit and gained the support of the public bit by bit. The woman with the blue head wrap was done.
Agree, and it is a poor attempt at trying to get a rise out of AB in order to get an arrestable reaction
Best thing is that 200,000 people have seen her disregard for legitimate mental health issues and just attempt to abuse a power in order to control/arrest a member of the public.

Filming women can't classified you as pervert. At least that's normal behavior for straight man. If some court pronounce that as pervert's behavior than we all should walk blindfold and all fashion magazines, shows and TV shows should be terminated and forbidden.
@@MarioCindric It's a woke brigade thinking ploy. Taking what is a normal activity, no matter what the cops think, and making it somehow 'sleazy' is the way they are going. I also thought "Oh the Irony"
I think the way they bring up mental health issues, essentially calling someone mental, is a disgrace.
That officer with the blue doo rag should be sacked, how unprofessional. She thinks she’s a bouncer of Birmingham city😮
This shows a shocking lack of training, the police need to enforce laws, not feelings.
I love how unfazed AB is in the face of tyranny! Completely steadfast.
