What should ruin your optimism is that the Vikings defense is really good at taking the ball away.... I bet Malik Willis ends up finishing the game as the Vikings defense has too much speed in Jordan love is hobbled
Unfortunately, Flores is REALLY good at prepping his schemes against specific quarterbacks, not just specific offenses. The Vikings are also blitzing a lot less so far this year as their reputation precedes them; just showing blitz is enough to confuse and panic a defense. Packers really need to focus on communication more than anything else or they’ll end up like Houston.
Any aggressive defense can also be exploited by a good offensive coordinator. Packers have Reed, Watson and Melton to hit with quick passes. Don’t hold the ball too long. Set up screens to the running backs.
Mason was gashing the Vikings during their SF game. They got behind so they stopped running. But... Kinda like Taylor when we played IND - they shoulda kept running because they couldn't stop him.
@@kylegood2622 - we’ll see is LaFleur emphasizes the run with Jacobs even with Love back playing QB. It would be great to dominate the line of scrimmage and win this game at home.
Always thankful for the daily packers content. And also thanks for all the exclusive content on Autograph! You’re really grinding out this content this year. Love listening to all the content as I get through my day. Much love as always pack a day fam
What's interesting to me about the Vikings defense right now is that they're #2 in Scoring Defense, but not Top 10 in Rushing or Passing. Very bend don't break
Vikings I believe have a bigger challenge with the Packers Offense. LeFleur has proven his old-style type of running game works. There's a million different versions LeFleur can play off of these past runs other teams will be scouting. The run setting up the pass chewing up the clock with good defense. Championships can still be won with this style of play.
Wouldn't RPO plays be effective against defenses that are trying to hide what they are going to do until the ball is snapped? RPOs are designed to wait until after the ball is snapped to see what the defense does, then you decide if your best option is to run, or pass. If someone knows why that wouldn't be a good option against Minnesota I would like to know the reason why not. Thank you.
If Malik WIllis the starter QB, they def are going to RPO the shit out of the Vikings. Willis did it last week and he can do it again. If Love is in, they definitely won't as his mobility would likely be limited because of his injury.
Not if a ton of guys are on the line, as Andy said, that dissuades you from running the option. The option is about reading the defensive end and pulling the ball if they go for the RB, but if you have multiple players lined up outside where that defensive end is, you can't run RPOs.
With Ja being injured and the crazy pressure Minnesota can bring I say you let Love rest one more week. If he plays it sounds like he could be taking some hits even if he gets the ball out quick.
@michaelharris6463 true but gotta play the long game. Already pretty fortunate getting 2 wins with Love out. If he's not 100% a game this early in the season isn't worth it. Also, who's to say Willis can't win another?
Just finished watching every snap on the all 22 11-20 times and somehow Rhyan was the highest graded OL. We really have a top unit that should be able to hold up the rush, a lot of it will come down to scheme vs scheme. LaFleur really wasn’t showing his cards in the second half though, so that should help
So you are telling me they are dropping lineman in coverage? That should be bad for them.. if they bring anyone you are saying they put linmen in covrage Musgrave should eat when they do that idk.
This game is not looking good. Not going to lie. And just hearing Andy talk I'm like well damn what can we do lol. But hopefully we win. But with how it's looking , it doesn't look good.
Andy is a similar type of Packers fan to me so maybe it helps to know that we try to be hyper-realistic if not a little pessimistic about our odds of victory. Stay humble. Never let your enemies catch you lacking.
While I would love to see Love play, I think Love should play next week. With his injury and maybe some rust, Love will not be able to get off to a good start right away, which is what the Packers need to do. Willis should be in instead. The Packers can win with Willis, not because of him or in spite of him. The Packers will have to be multiple while also eating up clock with the run game. I think Jayden Reed is the X-Factor in this game. If Reed breaks out, the Packers have a much better shot of winning. If the Vikings contain Reed, the Packers chance of winning is near zero.
Green bay has to much talent and speed viking want be able to stay doing the defense high screen with jacobs so destroy it reed watson chain movers hope they try it if love is back
My gosh. Doom and gloom. Packers don’t have a chance! Give the Vikings the Lombardi already. Their gimmick defense is just so complicated. No coach in the league can figure it out. Give me a break! Packers kick Vikings a$$ Sunday. Packers fans…quit running scared all the time. It’s getting old.
Talking about the Vikings strengths and what they do well doesn’t mean doom and gloom… it just shows what they do well and how GB will need to mitigate it. I actually really like GB’s chances in this one…
This comment comes before I watch the video, more of a reaction to the title of video. I believe the Flores defense is gimmicky and that can only take you so far. If Love is back I expect our excellent offense to pick apart their defense similar to last New Year’s Eve
It's not really gimmicky. These types of aggressive defensive schemes work. Look at Chiefs and Ravens last year. Seahawks are doing a similar thing this year, but to a lesser extent. Vikings will win a majority of their games purely based on how dominant their defense is, similar to the Steelers last year and this year. The key to stopping the Vikings is to have a healthy secondary full of play-making stars that can make Darnold's job as QB very difficult.
@@NickwritespoetryI disagree I think the vikes don’t have the horses and are playing very aggressive because even with lesser players you can coach to play hard and fast. A good offense will be able to pick it apart. I guess we will see tomorrow.
jboogie5216-Your Comment shows just how STUPID you are. The Packers won't lose any Games by 40 Points this or any year for a long time. We shall see how it goes against the Queens. Are you a Queens Fan? If not, who's your Team.
My optimism comes from the fact that Jordan is REALLY good at using the hard count to get the defense to declare who's blitzing.
My fear is the delayed blitzes concealing some of these jumps from a hard snap

Damn Andy now I’m pessimistic about this game haha great show though!

I agree with you! This is the wrong week/team to have Jordan come back!
@brianmattrisch3947 yeah we should've started Willis lol
I think Jordan Love will be rusty and the Vikings will definitely take advantage of that
Ja being injured is a real buzz kill for this game. 😩
💚💛💚
not really worried if we drop this one. vikings love to play their best football in september. the packers have bigger asperations.
Plus vikings haven't played a team yet with a running back
Or a good o line
@@packerskingdom902 49ers running o line is crazy

Matt gonna wipe the floor with Flores 😈
after doing some research what is kinda insane is /..that defense is worst when on 3rd and long like wut?
What are(n’t) they doing at practices that’s resulting in all these injuries?
Where was the film review?

Psst.. Love is playing
Pssst he threw 3 picks at home
If Jaire is out, it will be all 2 high
Will be two high regardless jaire ain’t playing 1on1 vs Jefferson😂
Sheesh in Andy’s eyes The packers got no shot huh 😂
Nope. Actually love GBs odds in this one. Just laying out the challenges & what Minnesota does well.
It is funny to look back and think that the Packers were in this game-- or that they had a chance.
