Strange setup beginning 3:23 to 3:50. Was this created as an event space? It looks like a banquet hall, especially with all those tables. The conference room and table at 4:30, too.

If memory serves, this was the home of the people who founded / or were significant donors to the Norton Simon Museum of Art. A truly astounding collection. The outbuilding was the home of their collection for many years before they donated it to the museum.

Correction: The Architect that designed the Gallery building designed the Norton Simon. The collection was given to the Huntington Library. The Virginia Scott Steele Gallery at the Huntington houses the collection. Ms. Steele was the owner of this house.
