Great video. I found Duckworth just over 3 years ago and have since amassed probably 12 items total. I gotta say that after doing the research, they are either the same price or even less expensive than a lot of their non made in the USA competitors. You know em..sold in the big box outdoor store or in some department stores....yup, all made overseas. If it is a bit more expensive, well, knowing I have a 100% American made product (from sheep to shelf) is worth it.
same here. I have slowly replaced my entire wardrobe with all Duckworth. Vapor Tee’s, vapor briefs, woolcloud jackets, Polaris longsleeve, and most recently the Sawtooth plaid shirt. GROWN SPUN KNIT & SEWN in the USA baby! 👍🏻 who else can say that? None that I’m aware of….
Have you tried Unbound Merino Wool products for men? They also have women's Merino Wool clothes . I have invested in the Women's Unbound Merino Wool Capsule.
It’s only 38 percent wool! At least it’s American but there are much better options for the price for sure! First lite stone glaciers and kuiu! Also there hoods fit much better
No, because wool garments are not supposed to go in the washer (with the exception of wool socks and underwear). Most wool garments are supposed to go to the dry cleaner.
What was your shipping experience like? My first oder back in January 2023 took a week for them to ship. I chalked it up to being slow after Christmas. My latest order, according to Duckworth email was to arrive on 3/1/23. One week after I ordered it. Currently it still has not shipped, ordered 10 days ago.Duckworth Customer Service has not responded to my email. I'd cancel the order but I was given a gift certificate to Duckworth. I don't want to lose the order, Powder hoodie at $175.00. Company sounds good but no follow through.
it's fine but their products don't carry over 50% Wool. For those prices they should be up to at least 70%! I don't know about you but anything less than 70% is ify! How can they be known for their wool when you don't have any Jackets, Coats or Hoodie's that over 50% Filson is just as expensive but you get more wool for your money!
How can they be known for their wool? Well....they raise sheep and sheer them. They are the only company that does this. Other companies have to outsource the materials they use. More merino doesn't equal better. These folks have been in business for a while and know what they're doing. Probably more so than the consumer. 😊
I will agree! Weatherwool is Top-Shelf. Material, function, wear and customer service. They do not have base layers yet, but the wool is the best in in US market. Price is high, yes. The customer service matches the prices and functionality. All American sourced and manufactured.@@newseeker2590

Awesome! Glad you love them like we do!

Merino wool or alpaca wool, which is better?
Greetings...What is your height/weight? Thank you for the great review!
Would’ve been nice if he would’ve stated that.
Where do you live? Outside here in Minnesota smells amazing!

Thanks! GREAT! Sounds TOTALLY worth it!!!
Thanks the heads up. How is the hood on the comet hoody?
What are you looking for? It's the same material as the rest of the shirt.
@@WeTriedIt Does it have a decent shape to cover your head? Does it extend past the hairline/top of your head and cover your forehead?
Does this fabric shrink at all?
I didn't have any issues with it shrinking at all.

Rather have 100 percent wool or 99 percent
What Merino wool shoes are there?
Google Allbird and Merino Wool sneakers. Have both of these sneakers. I know there are many other brands of merino sneakers.

What does smelling like outside mean

There’s is a lot of stuff that is well over 50%. Some of their shirts are 80%, hats are 100% wool. So idk what you’re even talking about.
Yup
Smelled like outside??
How are you gonna say that its the best when you have no clue or did not even mention other brands lol?
Because there are no other brands with this sheep and certified American made. Really it’s incomparable.
@@duluthdjs2588 Weatherwool is better, and it’s American sourced and made from Rambouillet wool.

Is it organic?
After 3 days please wash your merino

Merino is not durable.
Depends on the thread, weave, and stitching. My darn tough socks are very durable.
No, it isn't. they use Plastic under their merino wool. this ruins it.
Yes if you choose the Polaris fabric but the Maverick fabric does not.
