True Porsche enthusiast and, the pure state of that Porsche 912 is refreshingly period with patina and battle scares to show longevity. Respect your elders!
I wanted an early 911 for over 30 years , ended up buying a 912 and wouldnt change it for the world. Its a superb drive. Sad to hear about kinky Mick RIP, remember him from my VW days
Nice car. I also have a 1967 912- bought it years ago enjoyed it for a while but now it has been sitting for years. Should probably get it running again. 😵💫
Loving these episodes on just “pure” cars. Any car you need a tetanus shot before climbing into, but runs great, is something special. So much more interesting than looking at a “concours” garage queen that’s never seen the rain.
I have two of these. A pumpkin orange 68, unrestored all original. I've done what l needed to do, had the paint "refreshed", new headliner, seats restitched etc. With 117k miles it still runs and looks great. The 67 came without running gear so now it has a 2.3 litre Penrose engine. The plan is to have a fully restored 912, all stock except for the engine so now it's apart to get painted. I have a 356 and some 911s but my first Porsche was a dark blue 66 912 that l bought in 75 for $3,000. I've loved them ever since
Mi piacerebbe una delle imbarazzanti 912E solo per swappare il motore con un boxer Subaru aspirato... Questa '67 è invece bella, agile, pura... Porsche!
The 44’s on here have been a royal pain in the arse since filming this. I’m now on a borrowed pair of 44 IDF’s The rear tyres did come from a 2 litre cup car though 🤣
Would have enjoyed a little bit of a drive, 40 minutes of yack, yack, yack, the presentation is a little dull, but if we could have experienced a 10 minute drive, I am sure it would have made a differecne. I own a Boxster, but would relish the idea of owning a 911, (ain't gunna happen), but these guys who collect these older air cooled 911's, and then store them in their fancy garages do us poor buggers a disservice, the car becomes a commodity to be stored and traded, like a stock portfolio, seriously though, why does everyone need all these 911's, the excesses of Capitalism, I heard once that Seinfeld has every colour of Boxster, that they ever came in, I say go find another hobby, collect stamps. Harry's garage is exemplary in their presentations.
Give that man a beer, he is a true Porsche enthusiast, a rare breed. Bad as hell car too👌🏿❤️
Thank you

Thank you 😊
Always enjoying seeing this at the Sunday Scrambles / Bicester heritage - enjoy 🏁🏁
A totally inspiring project. Improved through clever bastardisation.

I don’t suppose you’re keen to sell one…? to a budding 912 fan looking for an affordable way in to Porsches?!
I like this used and abused look... makes a change for the spotless cars.
Very similar to my 65 3gauge.. ivory white. Wish i could have seen & heard it run.. beautiful 912
Plenty of videos out there of it running. I’ll post more on here as and when
What's the name of that 912 group?...I happen to have a 'tastefully shitty' 1967 Light Ivory 912! Nice work!!
