Regarding the "armor of..." concept, I remember an interview Robert Downey Jr. did when the first Iron Man movie came out where he talked about how the idea of the superhero was a uniquely American secular concept of a hero, different from heroes of the past who were beholden to a God or gods, wielding a magic sword or whatever that was gifted to them from some supernatural source. Tony Stark built his own suit of high-tech armor, and used it to fight oppression motivated by his own awakened human conscience. (He became woke!) That's a model, symbolically, worth emulating.
We'll be able to defeat God as long as our armor includes iron, because Judges 1:19 shows that God is powerless against it (guess he's a fae creature). Seriously, tho, the contents of this vid needed to be said and I'm glad to throw something in the swear jar.

I think it's about rights, which, unfortunately, are political.
When politics hides behind religion, and religion drives politics, you can no longer separate them for the purposes of criticism. It’s like the old Reese’s commercial, “You got peanut butter on my chocolate.” “No, you got chocolate in my peanut butter;” except now it is, “You got magical thinking, oppression, hatred, misinformation, and violence in my quest for power.” “No, we are driving our quest for power with magical thinking, oppression, hatred, misinformation, and violence.”
