    Great video ❤️ definitely agree with satin scrunchies. They’re so gentle. And I remember when I used to do my hair with hair ties rather than sectioning clips. ‘Twas awful lol. Satin bonnets are super gentle too.
    I must say they definitely don’t keep moisture in for me at night. I always wake up with dry hair. But whenever I go out for the day and come home, my hair’s super soft, moisturized, and vibrant. All those humectants in hair products start working! TLDR: My #1 moisture tip is to go outside
    My must haves are:satin scrunchies, bobby pins, flexi rods, wide tooth comb, bonnet hair dryer, blow dryer with comb attachment, plastic caps, and sectioning clips.

    I'm soooo grateful I found your channel! I've been relaxed since I was 5. I was always accustomed to it; yet, I realized now I wasn't taking the best care of my hair. In addition, I knew natural hair wasn't for me.
    With that, I got my first relaxer in almost 3 years on Thursday. It was long overdue. I have color, so I'm definitely needed to keep moisture in my hair bc I don't want it to be more damaged. I started bing watching your videos and realized if you can do your own hair, I can to. I've made a list of what I need to purchase and I'm on it. I'm on my way to healthy, relaxed hair.
    Thank you so much for your channel and your shop on amazon. For someone that is working on learning their hair, I appreciate you greatly!

    Dannnnggg Val! you STILL have that Sedu? I remember this was the go to flat iron back in the LHCF days. I guess I shouldn't be one to talk though because I bought my LCL dryer some time back when you got yours ( I think back then everyone else was into the Mr. Pibbs dryer) and guess what!? Mine is still going strong too! I also remember back when people had all kind of jokes about it being so big ("Where are you going to put THAT?") but I PROUDLY rolled it in and out my closet when needed and it has served me well ever since! Meanwhile, the same people who had jokes are the same ones who keep trying to troop over to my house to use it! Ohhhhh well! LOL! At any rate, thanks so much for sharing AND for taking me back! Be well!

      @Sweets0727 2 роки тому +3

      Hi Keren- . So I had similar experience with shedding and I did the black tea rinse but then I also switch to the Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo. It helped stop the shedding for me. Maybe give it a try and see.

    • @HairliciousInc
      @HairliciousInc  2 роки тому +8

      Hey Keren, sorry you're going through this hun. Shedding is super annoying. Did you do anything different in with your last relaxer? did you neutralize properly? Try clarifying your hair using a clarifying shampoo. Just incase there's any product buildup on your scalp, this will help get rid of it and anything that could potentially be blocking your hair follicles. Do a light protein treatment followed up by a moisturizing deep conditioning session. Then apply your usual leave-ins, moisturizers etc. These steps really help to reset the hair and restore balance. Be sure to take care of yourself from the inside out. Keep me posted, sis!!

    • @HairliciousInc

      Hey! Im unsure of the wattage for the steamer. The hair dryer is 1200watts I think. I steam biweekly or once a month and I rotate between my heat cap and hooded dryer once a week. It really depends on how my hair feels, what I have planned that day etc. but usually just alternate.
