I have been a big fan of Longchamp and plan to get one longchamp le pliege to start off my longchamp collection and found this video. Thank you for the video!! I found so many replica online that claimed to be authentic. When I check the review photos all of them look so convincing.
They really are making the replicas so well. These differences are so slight you almost need to have an authentic to compare it or you’d never know. Especially for someone like me who doesn’t have a lot of knowledge on the brand. I have to say the replica looks like it’s really well made. Your authentic is really pretty though. Love the color. Only difference is that the care booklet has the tiny letter and numbers at the back, but all other aspects of the bag seems like a replica.

eBay doesn’t care. They are terrible. I reported a seller for selling me a fake mcm backpack because they admitted it after I questioned some of the details. The seller relisted it and they didn’t take the listing down. It sold for $600. I was horrified.

There is one near Oxford,UK called Bicester Village and they defo have a Longchamp shop where they usually have le pliage's. Dont know about any other outletswith longchamp in but I would expect some to be based in France.
I just bought mg first Longchamp Neo yesterday from a friend and I can't help but have this feeling that it's fake. On the tag inside it says Made in France but the plastic tag had an AE on it (when I googled it says Made in China) and that it's supposed to be AA. Plus the carecard doesnt have that small markings on the lower corner but has all the written stuff that you said. Help girlfriend!

please can you check mercari? there is a seller with "alohacp" selling longchamp totes and I kept asking for specific pictures for seller to add...and they kept avoiding what i wanted to look closer at. they then tried to deter me from buying it. They are selling two at a time for really cheap that makes it even more suspicious. Mercari doesn't play so if these are fakes then I can report them and have them remove the sellers listing. I looked at some of them and maybe a few are real but I don't think they all are? I don't want to cause the seller any problems but I also don't want others to get ripped off either. thank you. I just bought mine a few days ago and now I regret buying it from the same online store you bought it from. I wish I had seen this before I purchased it. I even asked them if what they are selling is original and they said it was.
Going out on a limb to say the replica you’re showing is excellent. I was hoping your hints would give us some serious things to look for, other than showing replica against real. Many of us aren’t able to put one against the other and compare minuet details to prevent being scammed. Some of the side by side you’re showing are almost negligible. You can make the call because you “know”, but I’d think without the real, even you would be fooled.
My bag passed every detail except for the card , it has the code thingy but doesn’t have much written on it im hoping it comes different with the models :/

Its leather silver Hardware even the logo is silver hardware... I purchased it from Nordstrom Rack online. It's cute...the inside says made in France (Paris) but the strap is too short. I was thinking of going to Bloomingdale's to pick up a guitar strap from The longchamp store. I hope it's not a fake... 800.00 I purchased it for 280.00... I was thinking of returning it.. the leather is like butter....the inside is grey it has the longchamp logo. But these days who knows

my made in france special order le pliage has a longer tab on the sides than my made in china ones plus the material of the bag is different as well i will never buy a regular le pliage even on sale again will just get the special orders

Gilt isn't very good about their sizing and color names sometimes... Just read the measurements and compare it to the longchamp website. Good luck!
