I've watched alot of these podcasts, specifically talking about the Packers and with Tom, and man this was great. Really felt like three guys just talking about what they love, no forced topics, no awkward pauses, just dudes being dudes.

I feel as a Packer fan there's nothing like it, but the fans I've always respected are Steelers and Chiefs fan's. So committed and loyal, blue collar hard working people that are obsessed with their teams. I can't believe some teams don't even sell out every Sunday. I have gold package season tickets with the Packers since 1995. Lambeau still gives me chills every year and this year seems like a great new beginning. The Love era is upon us, I for one am really excited about it.

I was at the SD game in Lambeau, we were 3-6, I still thought Love was the guy but this young team was so frustrating. Tough game but they luckily won the game. Then everything changed, the KC and Detroit games changed the expectations immediately. I knew the last 5 games were winnable. Then we lose to the Giants and Tampa. They did finally get it all together and beat the Vikings, Bears and Dallas in the playoffs. You couldn't pick 3 teams that I'd rather beat more than those teams. Incredible season and my expectations are extremely high now. I'm really confident we can be a serious SB contenders. GPG!

Love the ep. Hope yall talk again in the future.
My take on Jordan has two parts as far as this past season goes.
    1. I had no reservations about him. Not saying I knew what would happen would happen, I was thoroughly aware that he could not pan out, too. That said. I have had belief in the kid since his first actual offseason, because he was not using that time to be lazy and complacent. He was getting out there and putting in work to sharpen his weaknesses, hone his strengths, and clean up the messy parts of his game.
    2. After some thought prior to the first game, I realized that he was not inheriting the same caliber of team that was handed to Rodgers from Favre. I think a lot of people forgot that Aaron had Driver going into his 9th or 10th season. Jennings was now established and going into his 3rd season. James Jones was now in his 2nd year. Ryan Grant burst on to the scene the year prior. There was a stable, healthy offensive line in front of him and the offense a couple solid pros at tight end. Plus they had just drafted Jordy Nelson.
Jordan didn't have nearly that much luxury and that's even when considering the thought process was the team would lean on a running game (that barely existed and hasn't existed since Ahman Green) and defense. Obviously neither of those elements panned out like everyone had hoped. None of that is Jordan's fault, he just had to make do with the youngest offensive talent set in the league, much of which Rodgers couldn't make do with, because... reasons.

Some of my favorite film study…
Will you look at Penix, Nix, and McCarthy as well?
    Milton? Rattler? Hartman?
    The Tulane kid?
