Shalamar - Dead Giveaway (Mental Stimulation Edit)

Produced by Leon F. Sylvers III, "Dead Giveaway" was the Grammy nominated lead single from Shalamar's 1983 album, "The Look" - the last Shalamar album to feature the classic line-up of Howard Hewett, Jeffrey Daniel and Jody Watley. The single reached #10 US R&B, #22 US pop and #8 UK pop. Here's my extended version, based on the original 12" version (which was just 5 minutes long:)...

...This was HOT! ...an ode to s-xual frustration, Howard lends just enough intense belivability for his confrontation to his game-playing Lover...this would've been over the TOP if the blistering Jesse Johnson Guitar solo (added to the US version) was in this 'stimulating' extension from Sir Nick...LOVE the ending...
