I have a rare autoimmune disease called lichens sclerosis, so I can’t go in water that isn’t like bath water or completely fresh water, I got it at the age of 7, The fact that your kids and everyone around it loved it so so much warms my heart, others enjoy these things so much. It makes me feel good that people really embrace these things, and I felt like I was there with you actually in it, so thanks if this made any sense :3

An elevator like that can be operated simply by manually opening and closing valves by hand if needed, but nowadays those valves are usually converted to operate electrically, if said elevator is allowed to operate at all considering most of those were originally created in the late 1800s/early 1900s.
