Not just the average camping channel, your channel is level's above the rest mate! No chatting pony to get a thumbs up, you just keep it real whilst documenting your journey! Love it mate👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Exactly, used to follow haze outdoors, until tons of adverts, and him actually advertising all the time, same as messner, massive turn off, liam just keeps it real!
These are just the best most unique backpacking/camping videos. None of the overly edited stuff, down to earth commentary, natural background noise and amazingggg views. THE BEST!
WHAT? I just came back from a GR 131 trip 3 weeks ago, where I met ZERO other multi-day hikers - and I could have met one of my favorite youtubers?! What a shame. But hey, thanks for the epic video, for good memories!
I'm stuck in a hospital bed right now and so pleased you shared that island adventure. You put over the ambience much better than other similar channels. Well done!
Liam, what you do is important. I’m in my 70s and through my whole life, I’ve never talked to or with 67,000 people. You’ve provided a positive perspective on life and encouraged many to 67,000 people in only a month. That is huge. Thank you,
I envy Liam and his attitude towards life, just grabbing the opportunity to go places and enjoying the experience. My younger days are far behind me now but I would so love to have done something like this. Liam's videos are absolutely brilliant - keep up the good work young man. You are living life to the full 🙂
Loved the video, some great shots. Agriculture is obviously a struggle but also ingenious - e.g. the “black fields” which you passed are that colour because volcanic gravel (called picon) is spread over them to act as a mulch and to trap the night time dews (the soil is generally brown. The small depressions surrounded by low walls contain (mostly) single vines, to protect from wind and gather moisture, and produce excellent wines
My goodness what a journey. The islands seem otherworldly, not like you’d expect earth to be but beautiful in other respects. It lacks greenery and that’s to be expected but the forests were a welcome sight. Well done and thank you for taking us with, you. Take care, be safe. ❤ Dorset, UK😂
This is some of your best work filming wise. Lanzarote is my island, I absolutely adore the place. Been going there since I was 7 years old. I've partied there, relaxed there, had some of my best times there, learned to Scuba dive there and daresay one say I'll retire there. No amount of quality pics or videos can compare to being on Lanzarote and taking the place in. For me, it's another world and one I am completely at home in.
Please go to the Arctic next!! I've always been fascinated with Greenland, northern Canada / Alaska. Harsh conditions, but you've got the knowledge, skill and motivation
Class mate, so cathartic. You’ve got a great view on life. Such a chilled relaxed way. My life is so chaotic, watching this makes me slow down and appreciate life. Thank you Liam.
Totally otherworldly views in Gran Canaria 😮❤BEAUTIFUL & RUGGED. Don’t blame you Liam for wanting to keep walking. And wild horses 😊. Great video. 👍🏻🙋🏼♀️🇺🇸❤️

The legend - GR-131! Fuerteventura 100%, the other islands only sections - never had the time for a through hike before. Thanks for the great reports and the positive vibes.
That was one beautiful walk Liam, glad i came across it by accident and got to watch it all...Beautiful scenery, some cool sunsets and some great drone footage...Nice one Liam, good to see a young guy enjoying the world around us, might just subscribe to your channel 🙂
Really enjoyed watching this and gaining lots of useful tips along the way. I knew so little of these islands but now I have some lovely memories and it's all thanks to you.
I’ve just come across your content, I’ve binged watched most of your backpacking vids, really looking forward to this one. Slightly longer format too! Great
Another great video and an hour long even better! Keep them coming. I really like that hike you did where one of the spots you camped you found some cold beers it was absolutely brilliant, can’t remember which video it was tho
Never before and never since have I seen such beautiful apricots as I saw in Tenerife...I suddenly realised how easily Adam n Eve were tempted.I was in a botanical garden and the tree was fenced off with a sign...Do not touch!!! They were dropping to the ground to rot! Nooooo! Happy memory! Happy days! Thanks Liam.
Wait, I was in Scotland in 2023 and hiking through some of the mountains the only water bottles I bought were 1 litre bottles from your coop grocer. (That coop is so much better than any grocery store we have in Ontario, so damn fresh with the produce, you guys are kinda lucky).
Liam, you are inspirational. Great attitude. I feel like I am watching a video by a friend, since I have been a loyal fan for a few years now. Cheers and have a cold one - you deserve it.
We're off to lanzarote again in July, definitely my favourite country I've been to ❤, we don't hike just family holidays with our son, it's nice to see the parts of the island we don't get to see whole on holiday
Different class as usual kiddo. It's great to see a normal guy doing the things thd majority dream of, with a smile on your face and never a complaint. Plus it's as real as fk, no poncey patter or bollocks, just like taking a wander with your boy. Take care mo charra and keep em comin
Ma old dad went into hospital last Thursday av not had a chance to catch up but that subset man instead of wish u were here wish I was there ma father love poaching and walking the hills much love fae bonnie Scotland ❤ keep up the cracking work Liam top work
Thanks for the video. Love all of the islands. Done them all but mainly fuerteventura...on mtbs. Got back 2 weeks ago from corralejo. Our 34th visit lol. Back in 82 day. Then October. Managed to aquire an Irish passport so soon the islands will be our home ❤. I'm sure you'll be back in the future. Stay safe.
I enjoyed your hiking through my dear islands (I am from Tenerife). Try reaching the Teide summit in a walk for the next trip (just need a free license in advance). BR 🥾
Great video Liam. A bit sad to see you cut Fuerteventura short, my favourite parts of the GR131 here are in the south. If you ever come back don’t miss the climb up to Betancuria, the otherworldly remote stretch of desert between La Pared and Sotavento as you cross West to East and the miles of beach walking that follows into Morro Jable.
Another great video. Last night we watched you doing the Lairig Ghru which is only a few miles from us and you were sleeping in snow. Today we wach you gonna Scorched island. The stone structures are wind shelters for growing vines
Thank you Liam. I just love your videos. I am enjoying the trip along with you from the comfort of my sofa but I would rather be there with you tagging along. 😊
Very impressed with what your doing Liam , this is what life is about adventure and wonder , life isn't and shouldn't be about chasing endless mindless entertainment, chasing that big house and car and all materialistic things it will make you miserable been there done it freedom from now on doing the Wicklow way soon and Liam you have opened my eyes to what life is truly about safe travels keep it up.
Liam, you've done yourself proud mate, what a fantastic video, one of your very best. Sitting watching it, I just wanted to be there, thank you so much for sharing it with us!!
Great adventure. Well worth the wait. Maybe in future videos, could you tell us about your tent and that you don't seem to cook anything? Always prepare your food with cold water. Tell us what you eat on the trails. I'm sure you've already covered this in the past. But I would really appreciate the updates . I'm already looking forward to your next adventure .
Liam, thank you for another amazing video. I always say that your last video was the best, but in my opinion this one is the best! This is now my favourite channel as I always look forward to seeing your adventures. You are an inspiration to me and many as you show us what adventures lie on our “doorstep”. Your videos are authentic and honest and your humility is a credit to you. Please consider releasing a book of your adventures and routes. As I have said, you have inspired many to follow some of your routes. I am looking forward to your next adventure and I wish you every success with this channel, though I know you don’t do this for success but just for yourself! Congratulations sir.
Absolutely stunning. I had always associated the Canaries with cheap package holidays (not been), but that mountain scenery is spectacular. If Liam’s isn’t the best channel on YT I don’t know what is 👍
Liam, this was one of your best videos. A couple of weeks ago i did a traverse of Lanzarote and La Palma, i was wondering if i might run into you. Lanzarote took me 6.5 days. It was ok but La Palma by far was my favorite with La Gomera also a great trek. After watching this video I have to do Gran Canary this fall. I love tropicals. Beer and lemon too, best in an iced glass.
Always love your videos, they're enjoyable and interesting. Please consider buying a wind muffler for your mic. As a regular visitor to Gran Canaria it was lovely to see it from your perspective. Keep up the good work!!
There were indigenous Berber people living on the Canaries before the Spanish arrived. You can occasionally come across someone who is descended from the original settlers, they have dark skin, wavey hair and very blue eyes. They're not African, they're not Arabs, they're actually related to Corsicans, Basques and peoples from Bulgaria and Turkey.
Thanks Liam as always for inviting me into your adventure and taking me away to somewhere special this evening. Keep it up mate.
These are just the best most unique backpacking/camping videos. None of the overly edited stuff, down to earth commentary, natural background noise and amazingggg views. THE BEST!

Me too! I love travelling with Liam. Thank you Liam!
Same every time. Different class from a totally normal guy
Cracking hikes Liam……..well done mate.

Thank you Liam for all you bring to us - great views - great chat and a great attitude of gratitude for life ❤
Please go to the Arctic next!! I've always been fascinated with Greenland, northern Canada / Alaska. Harsh conditions, but you've got the knowledge, skill and motivation
Jeeez this would be insane for Liam, a great challenge
He's been to Norway, South of the arctic though. I hope he does the Kungsleden and or the Nordkalloteden trails, a must do in my opinion
We'll need to get a while round for the fella but I'd happily chip in a few quid to make it happen for him
Just been on a geologic field trip to Tenerife, Teide is amazing and so is Tenerife generally. Keep up the great vids Liam
Really enjoy the 1 hour episodes alot better, keep them coming liam
Class mate, so cathartic. You’ve got a great view on life. Such a chilled relaxed way. My life is so chaotic, watching this makes me slow down and appreciate life. Thank you Liam.
I love the longer videos! Looks really good! You inspire me to get out more and just walk and enjoy ☺️
Totally otherworldly views in Gran Canaria 😮❤BEAUTIFUL & RUGGED. Don’t blame you Liam for wanting to keep walking. And wild horses 😊. Great video. 👍🏻🙋🏼♀️🇺🇸❤️

Great video Liam. Exactly what I could do with in my life right now. Simplicity.. views that cost nothing. And sunshine ☀️ keep up the great work.
Thats amazing. Congratulations. I live in Tenerife now and i can see all the islands from a different perspective. Thanks. God be with you.
Best travel channel easily !!!!!
I hiked la Gomera, Teneriffe and Gran Canaria 9 years ago. This brings back memories.

Gotta remember here in the uk, especially up north we hardly get 26 Celsius in summer🤣
Good to see you back to settle some unfinished business with those Canaries!
I hiked Tenerife and it was great. Saved a lot of money, lived on 5 euros/day.
Never before and never since have I seen such beautiful apricots as I saw in Tenerife...I suddenly realised how easily Adam n Eve were tempted.I was in a botanical garden and the tree was fenced off with a sign...Do not touch!!! Only 30 seconds in... I can tell this is going to be great!
Great trip Liam! Please get a hat for hotter climates though, sun stroke can get you quickly. Makes me uneasy seeing your head roast!
I really appreciate your content. Thanks for sharing!
Be good for you to treat yourself to some bigger meals/more beers in the towns/villages on occasion!
Yes!
Thank you Liam. I just love your videos. I am enjoying the trip along with you from the comfort of my sofa but I would rather be there with you tagging along. 😊

excellent stuff liam , those horses in the forest seemed otherworldly.
I just randomly found your channel while at work the other day and have binge watching them all! You’ve given me so many more ideas for backpacking!
Another great video Liam. You certainly do enjoy your travels and adventures.
If you get back to Lanzarote get yourself to La Graciosa. Its surreal and so beautiful.
Liam, this was one of your best videos. A couple of weeks ago i did a traverse of Lanzarote and La Palma, i was wondering if i might run into you. Lanzarote took me 6.5 days.
