I did that trip in my 87 Bronco I have done some work to and stayed at the cab. Goler was nice looking and Mengel Pass was a rock garden way worse at the time. The large boulders I see on the video were everywhere ! So much I could not be sure I was on the road miles at a time. My GF and I were alone with no other vehicles. I was amazed I did it without locking my hubs or take second goes against rocks. King shocks and lockers helped a lot.
Very cool video. We saw your group (24ish vehicles) a couple of weeks ago in the Bradshaw Mountains just north of Phoenix. Your group really gets around, I like that. Plus the variety of vehicles is a plus - not the same old Jeeps and Toyotas on every trip.
Great video guys and I would like to see a video that's just about the solid axle Xterra. A full rig walk around talking about how it was built and what parts you used. Kinda like how Overland Bound and Ronny Dahl does.
Rogue Overland ; I was curious about that straight axle too, I have an 04. But I also have a 1985 Toyota pick up with the straight axle with I really like
Great video! Just the right combination of 4 wheeling, camp life and area descriptions. My wife and I are picking up our 2018 Tacoma Off Road this week, then start our build for our upcoming Sept, Utah trip. Looking forward to our return to the desert.
I love the videos because they are well shot, and not to much of each item like talking or other background noise, what GoPro do you guys use? I have a 97 explorer but looking to make it a rig. Have installed a custom radiator, all terrain tires 31s. New battery, terminals, new plugs and wires, headlights, fog lenz smoked to gas shocks. What do you prefer gas or air shocks. I'm trying to learn more about overlander lifestyle.
@@RogueOverland cool I have a GoPro hero black as well, I just got an editing software for it for my videos I'll do so trying to figure out some vehicle issues then once squared away will be good.
theninja001 Seconded. I just did that a month ago. It was almost a religious experience after three days roaming around the park. Maybe the best bath I've ever taken.
I have that gray xterra 04 but at this moment it is resisting the adventure, it has heating problems and I already changed the sensor and changed the radiator fan clutch even it is direct without thermostat and it remains the same. The mechanic says that it is not a water pump or head seals. any opinion...
This was really entertaining but I cringed every time someone came down hard on a rock. I would never take my truck through that pass. Not worth the damage.

Thank you! We were up there for our Winter Expedition; it's a beautiful area.
@@RogueOverland we had an Xterra owner with us and he was excited when he saw all those Xterra in your group. Looking forward to your video.

Did you guys hike up to the Warm Springs hot spring? It’s perfect hot tub temps! Just 150yards behind the buildings.

Great video do you have waypoints to share, a group of us are headed that way next month.
We don't post that kind of stuff publicly but feel free to email or DM us on IG and we should be able to help you out. Thanks for watching!
Did you guys have any issues driving over those rough washboard roads with those RTT? Some of them I feel like would break those mounts right in half.
No issues at all. Thanks for watching!
That looks like a great route! Can you provide a link for your GPS coordinates and waypoints?
Good idea 💡 That would be awesome!
Mengal Pass sure has got beaten down over the years.
Yes, it was rough.
Badass guys!!!
You dont get the Xterra out on road trips?
Yes we do! We just took two of them on a five day trip to the four corners region. Thanks for watching.
