I got at 5k pb in these at parkrun recently (19.14) and a 20 minute marathon pb in Dublin last weekend. They just seem to work for me and are supremely comfortable 👍
@R251400 Hi, I'm a bit of a running shoe buying addict, so have brought the Adidas Pro 3 and Endorphin Elite since then. I ran alot in them last year, so they are for my fast training runs now, but really look forward to wearing them still 👍
@R251400 I'm finding the Adidas Pro 3's a bit clunky, much prefer the Fast-R's. The Endorphin Elite slightly lighter, which may give it the edge, but nothing in it really.
I’ve just brought a pair of these and I’m more than happy with them. I did a running session in them (around 10km of threshold) and I’m already discovering a bit of wear on the top of the shoe where the colour is flaking away. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions to avoid this. I’m considering getting some tape to line under where the wear is happening. Also, does anyone know how long these shoes take to break in??
Did any of you experience any toe/forefoot pain while running in this? I picked it up, and immediately had quite severe toe pain underneath my foot where they attach, after a 5 mile test run. Never experienced that with my running before, so I'm thinking it's the shoe.. A shame as well, since I found it quite nice in terms of upper comfort, and bounciness. And what a radical look!
@@klouzpan906 oh really? I kinda chalked it up to having gotten the wrong size (too small), but it's the same size as I regularly use in all other shoe brands..
I like the cushion over the deviate nitro elite. and agree that it's good for a long tempo and feel less beat up. Can't replace the VF for me. Wish I could return it.

Are you still happy with your Fast - r Pumas?

@@dpeddler123 thanks for your help bro, appreciate it 👍
I'm always up for a bad pun - please stay funny, Nick 🤣
Don't encourage him
I bought this shoe 6 weeks ago for £125. Using it for short races and quality training and love this shoe.
On what pace?
Nice and clear. Was really curious, so thanks as always guys.

I know you prefer the VF but can you go as quick in the fast-r as you do in the VF?
@@R251400 I prefer the VF because I can go quicker. Others could be quicker in the fast-r.
@@robertw4918 thanks bro
How would you compare these to the nike tempo?
Having supershoes from the usual suspects Nike, Saucony and Asics, this is one I won't be investing in but a great review nonetheless!
Could you review some shoes under thr £100 budget for a marathon
